Public bug reported: Please sync gnonlin1.0 1.2.0-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main) Update for the currently shipped prerelease. Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped: * Drop LIBTOOLIZE boolean in debian/rules, as we now want to do it with dh-autoreconf. * Drop 99_ltmain_as-needed.patch (use --as-needed in d/rules instead). Can be droppped since the changes are included in debian now. [Bug 1300038] [NEW] xubuntu 13.10 Saucy : lighttpd + phpmyadmin : post-installation status 2
Public bug reported: When installing phpMyAdmin on top of lighttpd, package configuration exits with status 2 : dpkg: error processing phpmyadmin (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2 Processing triggers for libc-bin ... Errors were encountered while processing: phpmyadmin Further deinstallation with apt-get remove also fails. Possible solution ? It seems the following configuration file is missing when the user is prompted to select the HTTP server on which phpmyadmin is running : /etc/lighttpd/conf-available/50-phpmyadmin.conf As a workaround I created the lighttpd configuration with the following content : server.modules += ( "mod_alias") alias.url += ( "/phpmyadmin" => "/usr/share/phpmyadmin" ) $HTTP["url"] =~ "^/phpmyadmin" { # Allowed IP addresses, this is a regexp : (127.0.0.1|127.0.0.2) $HTTP["remoteip"] !~ "(127.0.0.1)" { url.access-deny = ("") } } # Directory protection $HTTP["url"] =~ "^/phpmyadmin/libraries" { url.access-deny = ("") } And the installation with apt-get install phpmyadmin went successful. Hi there! Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. [Bug 1291526] Re: could not start ksmserver with nvidia-prime at next login
Moving to nvidia-prime again because I have absolutely no idea what to do. Yes, ksmserver crashes in the XIO errorhandler, the handler is from kdelibs and meant to attempt a cleanup to prevent data loss. The problem is not that it crashes, the problem is that it gets an XIO error with prime, while it does not get one without it (i.e. because it does not crash - even if it did manage a cleanup before exiting it would still result in a defunct session as KSMServer does the session management).. ** Package changed: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu) => nvidia-prime (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase-workspace in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1291526 Title: could not start ksmserver with nvidia-prime at next login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-prime/+bug/1291526/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1299920] Re: defaulting to qt5 does not work siunce QT_SELECT=qt4 is in the environment by default.
Yes, QT_SELECT shouldn't be set by default as it overrides the qt[4,5]-default package. It's just possible KDE people not only overrode PATH (which was now removed) but also set QT_SELECT somewhere else to force the selection, which also should not be needed anymore thanks to the fixes in Qt 4 and 5 packaging. The reason KDE wanted to set the Qt 'development' settings is that they use qdbus, and it's also handled by qtchooser despite not being strictly development only tool. I'd reassign this bug to some KDE package since I don't think there's anything to be done in qtbase, but then again I don't know if it's kde- workspace or something else that is setting the QT_SELECT now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1299920 Title: defaulting to qt5 does not work siunce QT_SELECT=qt4 is in the environment by default. [Bug 1300075] [NEW] langpack complete fails to build with amd64 architecture
Public bug reported: Hello, the italian team is preparing to release the localized version for the upcoming LTS 14.04. We have "it complete" in the langpack.txt file. Building the i386 image everything looks fine. The amd64 image built with the same package starts in english instead in Italian. The keyboard, the interface, the default language when open ubiquity, etc is in English. I tried to build it with "it" instead of "it complete" and both amd64 and i386 looks fine. Attaching the build log of the amd64 image. ** Affects: ubuntu-defaults-builder (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "build log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1300075/+attachment/4055129/+files/binary.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1300075 Title: langpack complete fails to build with amd64 architecture To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-defaults-builder/+bug/1300075/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1287753] Re: Please update to 331. 49 and/or provide Nvidia 334.21
@Jason: in theory nvidia-331-updates was supposed to be updated frequently after the Ubuntu release, whereas nvidia-331 would remain at the same version. In practice the SRU process is too slow for this, and the main reason for keeping nvidia-331-updates around, is that on development releases, after feature freeze, we can still update the nvidia driver without breaking nvidia-331. In general we are more conservative when dealing with nvidia-331. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1287753 Title: Please update to 331. 49 and/or provide Nvidia 334.21 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-331/+bug/1287753/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
