[Bug 1035755] Re: [firefox] Extension causes context/drop down menus to disappear
Thank you, Joseph. This should be made the default for all package upgrades and new installs until this bug is conclusively fixed. By the way, using libdbusmenu-qt2 0.9.2+13.10.20130826-0ubuntu1 (version number bloat, anyone?) from Saucy has NOT fixed the bug. After a few hours, the menus have stopped working again, immediately after I opened a menu from the add-on bar. The menu's outline is visible for a split second longer than it was when it was failing before, but it still fails, and I still have to restart Firefox. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1035755 Title: [firefox] Extension causes context/drop down menus to disappear To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/libdbusmenu-qt/+bug/1035755/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 261595]
Hi Irving, thanks for the review. For some reason I did not get/read the notification email from Mozilla. I, too, noticed that there are other places which would deserve attention and use of a similar function. However, I would prefer this patch to go through first, and that we make another bug to (1) identify those code segments/files, (2) discuss the appropriate solution for each and, then, (3) write a patch, which I can help with. So I would ask for this patch to go through as is, since you indicated it is ok. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/261595 Title: Thunderbird corrupts Mailbox when hd is full To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunderbird/+bug/261595/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1174275] Re: Random system freeze in 13.04
I can confirm that the freezes and some other buggy things have been absent for a few days now since I also recompiled the patched 64-bit driver. Before that, I would get 2-5 complete system freezes a day (mostly when on battery power) on 64-bit Ubuntu 13.04. The other annoying thing that has so far gone away since the re-compile are random disconnects (especially when another device with a non-Broadcom card came nearby (like our other laptop or a Kindle Fire HD). The Broadcom card would sometimes, but not always disconnect. Then it would never again connect until a soft reboot of our router was done. So far so good. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1174275 Title: Random system freeze in 13.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1174275/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1219954] Re: Slow startup of lightDM in Ubuntu 13.04
I don know what you exactly mean by the Raring kernel. I tried to boot in an older version of the kernel, 3.2.0.41 generic. The login screen is indeed shown after some seconds, however it was smaller than the monitor, and after login only the background was shown also smaller than the monitor. No launcher and no top menu/system tray was shown. The printer driver, normally displayed in the system tray, displayed an message “No system tray detected on this system”. So back to text mode and reboot. First shutdown now command stops after modem- manager messages. Second shutdown now command gives and failed on killing all remaining processes and stops. Hard reset needed. Rebooted using the newest kernel, wait one minute and login. no launcher and no top menu/system tray was shown. So back to text mode and reboot. Rebooted using the newest kernel, wait one minute and login with a different user. This worked fine, until shutdown the system. It ask for conformation, however mouse clicks and enter key had no effect. So back to text mode and reboot. Hope this info helps, as I spent a considerable time to produce this, and will need to spend considerable time to restore the system. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1219954 Title: Slow startup of lightDM in Ubuntu 13.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1219954/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 240133]
I think this is a very useful feature. When you save a webpage with a view to read it outline or later, it is more convenient to have a single file. (In reply to Lance Baker from comment #87) > MHTML is not an approved standard. It is a Microsoft idea that other browser > developers have followed. I tried opening an existing .odt text file with tiff images imported as links. The imported images would not show. Instead only an empty and flickering frame showed up. Also, I could not import new tiff files, either embedded in the document, or as links. When I tried (Insert --> Picture --> From file) I would get a "Filter not found" message. However, other image formats (I tried png and jpg) could be correctly imported. I downgraded to version 4.0 from ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-0 and now it all works just fine [Version 4.0.4.2 (Build ID: 400m0(Build:2)]. sudo apt-get remove libreoffice* sudo apt-get autoremove sudo add-apt repository sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-0 sudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install libreoffice Reply at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1218890/comments/16 On 2013-08-17T10:33:56+00:00 Spam35 wrote: Could you please attach an example tiff file which you can't import?
