I was using the ffdemux_mp3 plugin to stream MP3 files on Lucid and
everything worked pretty fine! But after I upgraded to Precise, I can't
find ffdemux_mp3 in gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg any more.

I did a little checking and found that:
ffdemux_mp3 is in the Lucid package build log:

Finally It works for me on HP ProBook 4340s with rt3290 !

My steps:
- I downgraded to ubuntu 12.04.
- Installed kernel 3.6.11 from  #30
- make && make install DPO_RT3290_LinuxSTA_V2600_20120508 - important is not to 
change HAS_WPA_SUPPLICANT to HAS_WPA_NATIVE_SUPPLICANT
- Copied file from git #8
- And probably helped to blacklist: rt2860pci find by 
 dmesg | grep rt2

I have issue with shutting down #20 and turn off wifi by hw wifi button
doesn't help.

But guys, thank you a lot! I was installing it hundred times, I did
hundreds of resets and hard button turn offs after kernel panic and it
finally works. I will not upgrade as long as possible :-)

Noo, I was browsing for an hour without problem and after restart and turn on 
firefox - kernel panic.
How is this possible?

[Bug 1153488] [NEW] System reads Apple Magic Mouse (BT) as a Battery

This is a weird one... the system is an HP Pavilion 23 All In One and is
powered by a large power supply brick.

I currently have an Apple Magic Mouse connected via Bluetooth.  As soon
as the mouse is connected, the Battery indicator shows up and clicking
on that shows that the system is reading my mouse as a battery!

See the attached screen shot for what I see in the Power status.

Looking at hcitool:

To make matters even more weird, I actually observed the battery
indicator go from full to "Critically Low" and the system suspended
itself.  Keep in mind, again, that this system has NO battery, it's
reading my bluetooth mouse as a battery device.

I disconnected the magic mouse and the battery indicator went to Empty
Red outline and status showed Battery Disconnected.

additionally, when I turn the mouse off, the battery indicator goes to
critically low and I actually sometimes get a Low Battery warning and
the system suspends itself.  See this shot and you can make out the
Critically Low suspend warning I got just before the system suspended
itself.

This occurred after I turned the mouse off.

Here are some materials about what I see happen here:

- a video showing how the console shows after plymouth and before X comes back
- a bootchart
- syslog
- Xorg.0.log

There is indeed a huge gap (10 seconds) without any activity at the beginning 
of the boot, maybe not related to X, but still here.
Then X will take another 10 sec until lightdm is ready.

Does this fit into this bug report ?

We don't.  I've just installed Quantal on the box tried again.  With
nothing plugged in, launching the Sound Settings tool, Output shows two
options, Internal and Headphones.  Input shows only one, Internal Mic.

I plugged in a Mic, and nothing changed, I was not given an "External
Mic" Option and the Headphones option remained for Output.

I then applied the latest Quantal updates, rebooted and tried again.
Same thing.

  or something that makes it clear that update-manager is confused.

I experienced this issue.

The issue I had was Super+D (which I had configured as the 'Show
Desktop' command) would hide all windows apart from Chrome (Chromium).

To resolve this I right clicked the Chrome title bar and checked "Always
on Top", then I right clicked again the Chrome title bar and unchecked
"Always on Top".

Now the 'Show Desktop' works
