[Bug 954029] Re: package gettext 0.18.1.1-5ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: gettext:i386 0.18.1.1-5ubuntu3 (Multi-Arch
Almost all duplicates here have wine1.4 packages involved. Binary packages wine1.4-i386 and wine1.4-amd64 both have “Recommends: gettext”, which is Multi-Arch: allowed. RE: [Bug 1062201] Re: qemu core dumped by kvm-spice
Hey Serge, thanks for your response. Running the debug module like you asked me to, the attached text file was generated. About the crashing before booting Windows: I have no idea. It starts the VM for about one or two seconds, then dumps the core and kills the VM. I'd like to point out it kills the VM with any OS, not just Windows 7. I've tried this with Ubuntu 12.04 (client and server), Windows XP and I think I also tried it with Windows 2k8 R2. It just crashes the VM if I start it this way. The way I am using it now is by using the /usr/bin/kvm command. [Bug 1030544] Re: Calibre_parallel crashes during pdf to epub export
After shutting down and later powering up the machine that experienced the problem, I have been unable to reproduce it. It was reproducible before shutting down though, and came and went as I removed and re-inserted the line mentioned above. I think I need to find why a URL needed to be fetched at all, rather than trying to block it in cssutils. Perhaps there are still some upgrade checks that need to be removed from Calibre. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1030544 Title: Calibre_parallel crashes during pdf to epub export To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calibre/+bug/1030544/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1063198] Re: Inverse colors when converting png -> pdf
For me, unchecking downsampling option is also a workaround. It seems that libpdf-api2-perl doesn't like convert -depth 8 -resize 516x730 input.png input.tif Then the script below with PDF::API2 produces the inverted colours. input.png[1] PNG 2481x3508 2481x3508+0+0 8-bit PseudoClass 256c 226KB 0.000u 0:00.000 input.tif[2] TIFF 516x730 516x730+0+0 8-bit DirectClass 228KB 0.000u 0:00.000 Without the -resize option, the colours are fine. input.png[1] PNG 2481x3508 2481x3508+0+0 8-bit PseudoClass 256c 226KB 0.000u 0:00.009 input.tif[2] TIFF 2481x3508 2481x3508+0+0 8-bit PseudoClass 256c 239KB 0.000u 0:00.000 So it looks as though libpdf-api2-perl doesn't like DirectClass TIFFs: convert -depth 8 -resize 516x730 -type palette input.png input.tif input.tif TIFF 516x730 516x730+0+0 8-bit PseudoClass 256c 93.5KB 0.000u 0:00.000 And yes - the colours are then correct. #!/usr/bin/perl -w use strict; use PDF::API2; use Image::Magick; my $pdf = PDF::API2-> new(-file => 'test.pdf'); my $image= Image::Magick->new; $image->Read('input.tif'); my $resolution = $image->Get('x-resolution'); my $w = $image->Get('width') / $resolution; my $h = $image->Get('height') / $resolution; my $page = $pdf->page; $page->mediabox( $w * 72, $h * 72 ); my $gfx = $page->gfx; my $img = $pdf->image_tiff($tiff); $gfx->image( $img, 0, 0, $w * 72, $h * 72 ); $pdf->save; $pdf->end; ** Package changed: gscan2pdf (Ubuntu) => libpdf-api2-perl (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063198 Title: Inverse colors when converting png -> pdf To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libpdf-api2-perl/+bug/1063198/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1062970] Re: mtrr: no MTRR for e0000000,10000000 found
Currently my system shows: [0.00] Found optimal setting for mtrr clean up I ran apport-collect 1062970, but it didn't really do anything besides starting a browser and telling me I was already logged in. Due to the massive list of open bugs in Apport, I also have stopped using Apport, since it didn't work in 80% of the cases or so for various reasons, none of them which are related to me the user. I.e., the success rate is too low for it to be useful. If you want your bugs reported with higher quality, concentrate on fixing apport first. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/apport for the already existing massive list of open bugs for Apport. For this particular problem there appears to be a correlation between the fglrx driver being loaded and this problem, but whether it's really fglrx's fault? If you type fglrx mtrr into any search engine, it will show this correlation nicely. It's certainly not a problem unique to my machine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1062970 Title: mtrr: no MTRR for e000,1000 found To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1062970/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
