[Bug 487338] Re: Error reconnecting to OpenOffice.org through the cli-uno-bridge once it has been closed.
Matthew Pirocchi, your crash report is missing. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. [Bug 851645] [NEW] xfce4-settings is overriding settings from xfcedesktop
Public bug reported: xfce4-settings and xfcedesktop both offer the possibility to make changes to the Desktop's behaviour, however only those from xfce4-settings will take effect. This is confusing since both exist in the menu, and because xfce4-settings doesn't allow to make the same or even similar changes: For instance setting wallpapers in a multi-monitor setup has become much more inferior. I can only set one wallpaper on both monitors. The option Picture Folders can actually not add folders only pictures. There is no longer an option whether or not I want to have icons on the Desktop and the settings.. And I think that's it. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: xfce4-settings 4.8.2-2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-11.17-generic 3.0.4 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-11-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 1.22.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Sep 16 09:10:58 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release amd64 (20110427.1) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/usr/bin/zsh SourcePackage: xfce4-settings UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to oneiric on 2011-07-14 (63 days ago) ** Affects: xfce4-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug oneiric -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/851645 Title: xfce4-settings is overriding settings from xfcedesktop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-settings/+bug/851645/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 799202] Re: wacom stylus jumps with latest xserver-xorg-core
I can confirm that on my Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch the behaviour is exactly the same as j-b-m. The only addition being that I get the huge rectangles only when I stop moving the pen (but keep it touching the surface). My tablet probably does not provide tilt information so could you try the following. First run "xinput list" which shows you all input devices. Check which number it has given to your stylus. Then do "xinput list ". This shows you which valuators provide the tilt information. These are probably 3 and 4. Then run "xinput test " and move your stylus. What values do you get for tilt axes? No matter what I do, I can't get any other value than 0 for these. Which would indicate that the huge rectangle values are generated somewhere outside X. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/799202 Title: wacom stylus jumps with latest xserver-xorg-core To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/799202/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
