We can discuss this at the meeting :-) > What topics are you going to cover in the meeting? Here is a list of things I would like to discuss, perhaps you or others have more...let me know. 1) simplified panel icons: how to move forward and get more people interested and working on them 2) wallpapers 3) The hibernate icon is missing in GDM (it did not have that functionality in the past). I would like to use the same symbols we use in the desktop logout screen which means we need to redo all the icons in gdm so that they fit to one style. The current GDM icons are somewhat outdated anyway so this is a good time to update this. 4) Possible tweaks to GDM artwork to make it fit with the desktop better. 5) The OpenOffice.org icons are being put in several bzr repo's (tango, human, and a merged set) along with scripts to help keep things straight. We can discuss where to go from here with this stuff. 6) Using a clear looks theme instead of ubuntu looks: It does not look like we will be able to get the needed changes upstream so we therefor need to look into what we can change and what we cannot and decide whether it is worthwhile to make these changes now or wait until we can do more of what we want in the next version. 7) 8.10 artwork ideas. I am putting together a pdf with a bunch of my ideas, we can look into getting something similar from others in the community so that we can present our ideas and move forward. Two more items: 8) The artwork for the windows installer program (Wubi, I think it is called). They need windows icons for the variants as well as a some other small pieces. 9) For the pager-tooltip we need dedicated icons for the entries "Scale", "Expo" and "Zoom". Have a look at the current state of things... http://people.ubuntu.com/~mmueller/pager-tooltip.png On Friday 15 February 2008 12:40:45 Kenneth Wimer wrote: > On Thursday 14 February 2008 16:42:00 xl cheese wrote: > > Was it the transparent fela kuti that allows the user to alter the base > > color? > > No, for now I tweaked Troy's version a bit and used that. Re: [ubuntu-art] meeting (again)
I would also participate. 3.30 am for me should be good. I think that a good idea is to make minor changes to the color scheme of the theme (no revolution but using similar palette..I have already posted my concept of idea in previous my email ). And perhaps change ubuntulooks engine with clearlooks engine. It's very simple and not revolution the current theme (Gutsy). A new idea of the theme could be made for Hardy + 1. gp ps: sorry if my english isn't very good. I'm Italian and I'm learning it. :-) > > Message: 5 > Date: Fri, 15 Feb 2008 12:40:45 +0100 > From: Kenneth Wimer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [ubuntu-art] meeting (again) > To: ubuntu-art@lists.ubuntu.com > Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" > > On Thursday 14 February 2008 16:42:00 xl cheese wrote: > > Was it the transparent fela kuti that allows the user to alter the base > > color? > > No, for now I tweaked Troy's version a bit and used that. Could we have wallpaper for dualscreen in the futur LTS ?
