[trojita] Trojita Releases

2019-12-30 Thread Andy Bennett

Hi,

It is now time for me to upgrade my OS (Debian) so I am wondering what
the current latest release of Trojita is. I have 0.7 installed and that
seems to be the latest available for download and the latest tagged in
git ( https://cgit.kde.org/trojita.git/tree//? ). However, there seem to
be more recent commits.

What is the best version to be running now?

Thanks for your help.

[trojita] Search against Cyrus IMAP server

2019-12-30 Thread Andy Bennett

Hi,

I have recently upgraded my IMAP server from cyrus-imapd 2.4.17 to
cyrus-imapd 3.0.8. Since then the search box in Trojita returns no
results for any query. Search seems to work in other MUAs. I don't seem
to get any error messages in the Cyrus logs. Runninn Trojita on the
command line does not provide anything on stdout when running a search
in the UI.

What do I need to do to debug this issue further?

Thanks for your help.

Re: [trojita] IMAP namespaces

2019-12-30 Thread Andy Bennett

Hi,

Now that I've upgraded to Cyrus 3.0.8, the user namespaces are showing
up.

...so I guess something has changed on the server side but it's still
weird that it worked in other MUAs but not Trojita.

I can automatically see the INBOX namespace and the shared folders
namespace however, I am unable to see the users namespace that
contains the INBOXes of other users that have been shared with me.

I'm subscribed to the folders and they show up in Thunderbird.

Hi, Trojita doesn't currently ask for all of the available namespaces
explicitly. It's possible that your configuration might require
issuing the NAMESPACE command. That's not that hard, but we don't do
that, yet.

Can you get me an IMAP protocol trace from Thunderbird? There's a
howto at [1]. Private mail is OK. If you want to sanitize the log, I'm
interested in anything that has LIST, LSUB and NAMESPACE in there --
both commands and responses.

With kind regards,
Jan
