[techtalk] getting ppp interfaces up

2000-05-21 Thread Roopa Rani

Hello everybody,
I'm an undergraduate student trying to setup a network to try a new routing
algorithm using serial lines using Caldera Openlite. However, I'm not able
to get the ppp interfaces or slip interfaces up or for that matter the eth0.
When I try to do it using lisa, it says that the interface does not exist.
Please let me know if some module has to be specially installed. I've tried
complete installation with no success.
Thanks in advance
Roopa
