[Talks] Eloquence 6.1.125 in other languages
Hello list! I had updated the firmware of my E72 and I was very happy when this new Talks came out! But to the topic. I tested for fun the English Eloquence. It was just great! But my local dealer hasn't put the Finnish version of the Eloquence 6.1.125 on its webpage yet, so my question is: are there any place were I could get the Finnish version of this new Eloquence. (Nuance is, as you might know, very slow to update) and Talknav only keeps the English versions. [Talks] Issue with the edit fields on m.facebook.com
Hello list! I have an interesting problem on my E72 with m.facebook.com, running Talks 5.21 and the last firmware. I had also this issue with Talks 5.20. It's interesting, because my friend, who has allso an E72 and the same versions of Talks and firmware, doesn't have that problem. The problem is, when I'm writing a new status or answering to any comment, Talks will all the time repeat what I have written so far. If I'm writing "Hi, ohw is it going", Talks start to say "Hi" many times during the process. It reads the whole text I've written so far, but it stops reading and says the written word properly when I've finished it, when key echo is on "words". The key echo settings do not affect to this. It may be difficult to explain, but I think that they who has noticed the same problem will recognize. Is there something to do about that? -- Isak from Finland --- Blogi: http://isak-sand.blogspot.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/isaksa MSN: isak...@windowslive.com Skype: isaks90 ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/

Hello! Dennis wrote: Isak are you using t9 or do you have that turned off? Give us as much info as possible so others are better able to help trouble shoot or give suggestions. The E72 has a qwerty keyboard, so I'm not using T9, and toggling the T9 key echo in Talks do not affect. And changing the key echo doesn't help, because it keep on saying "edit field" and the written message from the beginning all the time when writing. That problem isn't in all edit fields. I have only seen it on facebook. Normally Talks says "text" when coming to an edit field, and those work whitout problems, but on Facebook, there is another type of edit fields, for example the status field on the front page below the share button. -- Isak --- Blogi: http://isak-sand.blogspot.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/isaksa MSN: isak...@windowslive.com Skype: isaks90 ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
Re: [Talks] Issue with the edit fields on m.facebook.com
Hello! Edward wrote: I believe Isak indicated in his original post that his friend has the same phone, same version of talks and eloquence, and doesn't have the same problem in the edit fields with facebook-m. Yes. Because of that this is so strange. I've thought if there could be any settings, in the browser or in Talks, or somewhere, which we have set in different ways or something. I have heard when my friend writes in the edit field, and it sounds exactly like he was writing an SMS, for example, so that Eloquence reads only the written word (of course when writing echo set to words) and doesn't start reading the text from its beginning all the time, as in my case. -- Isak --- Blogi: http://isak-sand.blogspot.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/isaksa MSN: isak...@windowslive.com Skype: isaks90 ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/

Hello! Christopher wrote: Are you sure you're using the mobile Facebook page? I get the behavior you're describing on the regular Facebook page, but not on the mobile Facebook page. I'm guessing you would know the difference, but I don't know what else to suggest. Yes. I'm using m.facebook.com Also, when I work on reported bugs, I don't place a lot of stock in statements like "It worked when my friend did it.", "I'm running the latest version." or "I haven't changed anything recently." I'm not questioning anyone's honesty, but I need URL's, version numbers, exact steps to reproduce, error logs, and so on. I'm running Talks 5.21.3 on a Nokia E72 with the firmware 071.004 installed on it. The same problems ockured so well with Talks 5.20 with the previous firmware, which version number I can't remember, as with Talks 5.20 on this firmware mentioned above. If I go to http://m.facebook.com, and log in to Facebook, navigate to the edit field (with the 8 key or the arrow keys) and start writing text, it doesn't read written text properly. I have tried to explain the behaviour as well ass possible in previous messages. -- Isak --- Blogi: http://isak-sand.blogspot.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/isaksa MSN: isak...@windowslive.com Skype: isaks90 ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
[Talks] Is Nokia E-mail version 3.21 accessible with Talks 5.22?
Hello list! I'm sorry, if someone has asked that before, but I checked in the firmware update section on my E72, and found out that there's a version 3.21 of Nokia E-mail client. Can someone tell what has been changed and is it accessible with Talks 5.22? And if I get no answere, can I get the old client back, if I update it and it doesn't work? -- Isak --- Blogi: http://isak-sand.blogspot.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/isaksa MSN: isak...@windowslive.com Skype: isaks90 ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/

[Talks] New firmware (081.003) for Nokia E72
Hello list! I noticed just that there's a new firmware for Nokia E72 available, 081.003. Has anyone upgraded? what's new and have there been any problems with Talks? Re: [Talks] Internet Radion in E72.
Hello list! I understand you very well, and I am very satisfied with my phone, but ackording to a web page I found, for example the browser would be faster in the 081.003 update, so naturally I would like to upgrade to it, but this time I'd like some information about the accessibility before I update. so, someone in the world has to try, and write somewhere about it, before me :). -- Isak --- Blogi: http://isak-sand.blogspot.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/isaksa MSN: isak...@windowslive.com Skype: isaks90 Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/isaksand ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
Re: [Talks] How to access Wikipedia with Talks
Hello list! Michel wrote: Talks does not recognize the Serach button near the Search Editbox on both Wikipedia and mobile wikipedia web sites (with my Nokia N95 and Talks 5.22.3). Thus I can launch no search by these sites. I had the same problem, when I used my nokia E51. On the E72 Talks does recognize the search-button (or graphic), but when using E51 I always went via Google to the Wikipedia page I wished to read. The page itself works fine with Talks on N95. -- Isak --- Blogi: http://isak-sand.blogspot.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/isaksa MSN: isak...@windowslive.com Skype: isaks90 Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/isaksand ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/

Hello list! what phone are you using provide more info what edit box in particular are you experiencing this issue with? I have had exactly the same problem as Caleb on my E72 phone. [Talks] E72 users: Firmware 091.004 seems to work properly
Hello! After the case when the browser stopped working after a firmware update last year, I've been a bit careful with updating of the firmware on my Nokia E72. However, my friend updated his phone yesterday to the newest firmware, which is 091.004, and he told me that everything works fine. So, I updated, and he seems to be right. Actually, I haven't noticed any changes. The web browser seems to load large pages a bit faster, but this can be a illusion. So nothing, as far as I know, stops working with Talks, so if you want to, I think that you can update your phones, dear E72 users! -- Isak Sand --- Blogi: http://isak-sand.blogspot.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/isaksa MSN: isak...@windowslive.com Skype: isaks90 Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/isaksand ___ Talks mailing list Talks@talksusers.com http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
