[Talks] Problems aftr reinstalling TALKS after my phone got fixed
Hi folks. I just reinstalled TALKS on to my newly fixed Ookia E52, but it doesn't read as many things. For example, it doesn't read anything except the options menu in the Internet Radio or the Masps and web browser. The keys that TALKS uses to navigate the webpage don't work. I checked the TALKS version and in the About section under the Settings it read "TALKS version 5.0.3". Is this the correct version? This has happened to me before and I want to solve this. Is it a problem with the TALKS or have they changed something on the phone while fixing it? I tried using the Objects feature, but to no avail. Any help would be very appreciated. Is your copy of Talks Premium and did you purchase it? If so can you be sure that the IMEI number is still the same as prior to sending it away for repair? Hopefully you kept a record of it. When I open the settings, it says by TALKS & ZOOMS primium", so I guess it is TALKS primium. I bought it from a local dealer about three years ago. When ow to einstalled it, I did a reregestration via SMS. Does this help? No you do not have the current version of Talks on your phone. You said you have version 5.00.3. This is a very old copy. The current copy of Talks is version 5.30.2. Asking for a friend. He has one thousand text messages on his phone. It is an old phone but I cannot remember what model of phone. He says he can't even delete the messages as he gets the message not enough memory to perform the required action. I think he would need to do a format of the phone but he is reluctant to do this as he would lose Talks and that was put on for him by Vodafone free some time ago. Any other suggestions as to how he might remove these text messages from the C drive? I suppose there is the option to use PC Suite but he is not computer literate. If no other suggestion I might ask him to find someone good on computer who could do this for him.
