hi Jennifer,
read my answer below.

can anyone who has used or is currently using the nokia e52 please provide me
with their comments on how they find this handset, as
follows:
Q: usability with talks.
A: not much problem with talks accept that talks cannot read the symbol tables
for recent firmware, older firmware working fine.

Q: version of talks used
A: 5.00.3

Q: physical look and feel of the handset.
A: dont know how to describe a phone physical look with typing, perhaps someone
else can do better. but i dont face much problem
with the buttons or the layout of the E52.

Talks 5.20.3 fixes the Symbol issue. So you probably want to update your
version of Talks to the current version beings it is a free update to valid
license holders of Talks who are running 5.x and any licenses of 4.x that got
there Talks licence after Nov. Of 2007 or so.

[Talks] Talks says "documents in outbox" when there are none

2011-04-14 Thread Andrew Lamanche
Dear Listers,

When I press talks plus soft key two shortcut combination, Talks says
"documents in outbox". I have checked and checked my outbox repeatedly and I
find no documents. Has anyone else had that experience? How do I fix this if it
is some kind of a softwware quirk? This behaviour started after I had sent an
e-mail message from my Nokia c5 a couple of days ago.

Thanks for your help/wisdom.

You need to go into you email on the phone! Press up arrow to get to inbox and
then press select. Then arrow down to outbox and then select it. Now you will
see what is in the email outbox. The email folders aren't shared on the 9.3

Hi!
To edit the contact, just select the contact, and the talks would say
call, send message etc.
Press the options, and celect view details.
When it shows all the details of it, again press option, and celect
edit

contact. That's how i do.
There u go! Now u can edit the contact.

Good morning folks from Lebanon!

I purchased the Nokia E5-00 two weeks ago and installed talks on it and
registered it. I sent all my contacts from my Nokia N82 to my newly
purchased telephone using the phone switch. I needed to edit one of my
contacts directly from the Nokia E5-00 but did not find the edit
contact

option when choosing a contact to edit it between the options as in the
Nokia N82. I also tried to read the edit contact card help in the
Nokia

E5-00 but talks was unable to read it. Could anyone explain me the
step-by-step procedure to edit any contact needed?

Another thing I would like to know. How can I initiate the all
capitals

in
the Nokia E5-00? All your contributions are appreciated.

Best regards,

Can anyone help please? I've had this problem the day I got the phone,

[Talks] Sending calendar entries with Talks

2011-04-14 Thread Shane Clark
Hi everyone,
I was attempting to send a calendar entrie to some friends the other night as a
text message, and each time I sent it, I got a message in my inbox saying,
"unable to send message," followed by the phone number of the person, then
Talks said, "try sending the message without a symbol in it.".
However, when I sent it to myself, still in the form of a text, I was able to
open it and read the entrie. Is this something regarding settings in which I
would have to call my provider T-Mobile to have them change some settings
within my phone?
Also, when I tried sending it as an email, a friend said she got it, but was
unable to open the email to read it.
Another question... If someone wanted to take a picture with my phone, and if
I wanted to sort through the pics, and decide which ones I wanted to post to
Facebook, is there a way to do this with out sighted assistance? I mean I know
Talks won't read the pics to you when they're in let's say your galary folder,
but can you move them to another folder where Talks might say something like,
"image 1, or image 2?"
Thanks so much guys for any and all help.

the other night as a text message, and each time I sent it,
I got a message in my inbox saying, "unable to send
message," followed by the phone number of the person, then
Talks said, "try sending the message without a symbol in
it.".
However, when I sent it to myself, still in the form of a

text, I was able to open it and read the entrie. Is this
something regarding settings in which I would have to call
my provider T-Mobile to have them change some settings
within my phone?
Also, when I tried sending it as an email, a friend said she
got it, but was unable to open the email to read it.
Another question... If someone wanted to take a picture

with my phone, and if I wanted to sort through the pics, and
decide which ones I wanted to post to Facebook, is there a
way to do this with out sighted assistance? I mean I know
Talks won't read the pics to you when they're in let's say
your galary folder, but can you move them to another folder
where Talks might say something like, "image 1, or image 2?"

Thanks so much guys for any and all help.
Shane
