Re: [Talks] about talks licence transfer

2011-04-13 Thread Neil Barnfather - TalkNav
Hello,

first things first, using the license replacement program offered by Nuance we
can offer your friend a like for like trade out of his license, so this would
be IMEI to IMEI and would also only be for the maximum version allowed of the
software on their old license, meaning it likely won't work on a newer modern
phone, or at least won't work properly and will need to be upgraded at a cost.

next, to transfer from IMEI to SIM based licensing will cost money irrelevant
of the fact their old phone was lost / stolen, as this is not a like for like
transfer.

in addition, for any of the above to happen they will need to know their old
IMEI number no matter what.

here's my advice, if they are serious about switching to SIM license sing, just
pay the transfer fee using our site from IMEI to SIM, as this will not only
move their old license to a SIM card, but will also upgrade it to the latet
version, something they will very likely need to do anyway.

failing their wish to pay for this, we can offer a like for like switch for
free subject to the correct documentation being supplied in the correct format,
with the valid IMEI number etc.

for mor information please e-mail us at serv...@talknav.com

thanks.

Good morning folks from Lebanon!

I purchased the Nokia E5-00 two weeks ago and installed talks on it and
registered it. I sent all my contacts from my Nokia N82 to my newly
purchased telephone using the phone switch. I needed to edit one of my
contacts directly from the Nokia E5-00 but did not find the edit contact
option when choosing a contact to edit it between the options as in the
Nokia N82. I also tried to read the edit contact card help in the Nokia
E5-00 but talks was unable to read it. Could anyone explain me the
step-by-step procedure to edit any contact needed?

Another thing I would like to know. How can I initiate the all capitals
in

the Nokia E5-00? All your contributions are appreciated.

Best regards,

If the samson galaxy is a standard Windows mobile phone without a touch
screen, then YES Talks should work on it.

Re: [Talks] re might be ot re speech for the samson galaxy phone

2011-04-13 Thread Allan
hi Stewart,

unfortunately, there's no full working screenreader for samsung galaxy series
phones, or to be specific, android OS phones. late
last month, CF has announce the availability to a screenreader called "mobile
accessibility", but the minimum requirement to use
this screenreader with android is, the phone must come with physical
navigational controls such as a trackball or trackpad. in the
case of galaxy series phones, there's no trackball or even trackpad on the
device.

but however, you can try to use android device such as HTC desire which have
the physical trackpad and you can download the demo
mobile accessibility application from the android market and can be use for one
month.

to the mods, sorry for the off topic message, i just answer stewart's email.

Thanks Bhavesh I performed what you said and it worked properly but you
didn't tell me how to write all letters capitalized in Nokia e5-00.

Best regards,

Re: [Talks] feedback request regardign accessability of nokia E52

2011-04-13 Thread Allan
hi Jennifer,
read my answer below.

can anyone who has used or is currently using the nokia e52 please provide me
with their comments on how they find this handset, as
follows:
Q: usability with talks.
A: not much problem with talks accept that talks cannot read the symbol tables
for recent firmware, older firmware working fine.

Q: version of talks used
A: 5.00.3

Q: physical look and feel of the handset.
A: dont know how to describe a phone physical look with typing, perhaps someone
else can do better. but i dont face much problem
with the buttons or the layout of the E52.
