[Talks] recording facility

2010-11-12 Thread Estelita

Hello,
I wonder if we can use the N86 recording facility to record outside the
call? A meeting session for example.

Thanks for any information.

Sounds like to me! That you downloaded a hatched copy of something and it
isn't a valid copy. I would delete it and go and find the legle copy and buy
it. The only time I've seen or have herd of things in RAR files is when it
is a hatched copy that someone invalidated the license on.

Yes you can do that, but you need to mute Talks so that it doesn't interfear
with the recording.

In my N86, I can manually mute Talks by pressing Talks followed by delete
key, the same process to unmute.

Re: [Talks] need app to create a sis file

2010-11-12 Thread Christopher Chaltain
or maybe you downloaded the wrong file. I don't think EXE and DLL files are
native Symbian files, but I could be wrong about that. They look like
Windows executables and libraries to me. Did you download some Windows
companion software by any chance? Maybe the EXE is a installer that will
install the application onto your phone for you.

I assume SIS files include a container as well as some installer code. If
you're truly wanting to build a SIS file then I think you'll need to ask on
some Symbian developers list.

Good luck.
