[sword-devel] LXX Versification

2003-10-09 Thread ephrem_sword
Greetings,

It's been over a year since I first started looking into making modules of some
Eastern Orthodox texts. At the time there was no real support for non-KJV
versifications and a process of concatenation or an alternate module type was
suggested. ( http://www.crosswire.org/pipermail/sword-devel/2002-July/015035.html )

I recently noticed that support for LXX versification and the deuterocanonical was
slated for development in 1.5.7. With this in mind is the solution suggested above
still the only way of formatting the texts at present or is there some other method
which I can use in anticipation of the future development?

Also, as most of my development time is at my place of work after hours, and since I
am unable to access cvs due to our firewall, is there any other source for the cvs
files. In particular I'm looking for the text manipulation scripts.

Thank you,
Ephrem Christopher Walborn

Re: [sword-devel] OSIS WEB TOOL

2003-10-09 Thread Don A. Elbourne Jr.
Troy,

I hate to do this, but I don't think I'm going to be able to help much more
on the Web Tool. I thought I was going to have time to work on it an hour or
so a day and offer some help, but things are crunching here for me.

In addition to everything else that is going on, I was without internet
access for nearly a week. I was on again Tuesday and Wednesday and then out
again yesterday and just got back on today. I had to get a new cable modem.

If there is anything specific I can help with, please let me know, but I
don't think I'm going to have time to help re-code the jsp stuff and the CSS
in time for the October 28 deadline you are shooting for. I've got my hand
in too many projects and I think I'm spreading myself too thin. You know I
love the Sword Project and want to help however I can. I hope I'm not
leaving anyone hanging on this.

by grace alone,

Don A. Elbourne Jr.
