I was able to commit now, thanks. I do wonder though. When SVN was 
imported you set all the permissions correctly, so you told me... And I 
did nothing fancy besides committing with SVN!

Yay!  At this point I am just going to apply "Moscow Rules"[1] to it
and not worry tremendously about it.  But do let us know if there are
any more problems.
