No.

We think it's a good thing to improve, so it will be done, and you'll
be notified.

However now is not a good time to add features, because we're in a
bugfix phase after a recent code cleanup (to modern PHP & security
standards), and we current have both the old and new version running
at once on the same database, which implies a database structure
freeze until we're perfectly ok with the cleaned-up code.

If there's somebody willing to already work on a patch for later user,
no problem with that. Currently we don't have "someone else" to work
on this though. Making it easier for external people to contribute to
the code is part of the clean-up.

With "cvs log yourfile" you can see what revision is associated with each
tag. From there, you can look in the rest of the log for that revision, and
the matching date.

I don't know of an easier way to do so, maybe you can ask

Re: [Savannah-help-public] Re: firewalls blocking CVS

2007-07-18 Thread Richard Stallman
Sure, I will do that. I have started asking them and the response I
get is (in India) "Policies set by the parent company/HQ and has been
handed down to us". I have not yet got a straight to the point answer
yet! The other common answer is, "The firewall is not in our
administration, the proxy/firewall is located in a different location
(HQ)". Looks like Stefan's response seems to be the reason.
I will now have to start involving sysadmins sitting in different
geographical locations and this would take time.

It will take time, but please do it. It is a useful thing to do.

Not months, I hope.
