[sane-devel] epson 1250 working, but two questions

[sane-devel] how to get usb scanner to load scanner.o automatically?

Despite loading usb scanner module in 2.4.16, sane-find-scanner does not find the scanner. Is this bad news?

I thought it was made by mustek, but usb device file mentions visioneer? I'd love to get this working, the scanner is only $20 this week at office depot:)
