Hello Wrenches ! 

The last time I looked the Tesla Powerwall that is
current, could not be easily made to work with existing 48v charge
controllers? 

In other words it is AC coupled and can't be easily DC
coupled?

Hi Dave,

Yes, your understanding is correct. No access to DC terminals. Definitely
not a great off-grid solution and is complicated and clunky at best to
integrate a gen.
