Im definitely going to do swept back like Billie bars bc I like the option of putting my hands forward on longer rides. I see this Platypus as a commuter, tourer, group ride zipppy bike if that helps. My saddle height is 73cm. I got the chance to ride the 55cm today and it felt surprisingly small. 2025-04-02 Thread Matthew Whalen
Update on the Platy question! I ended up going with a 60cm and love it. I was hesitant because the website clearly says that I fit the 55 best. It felt too small. I have been riding the 60 for about two weeks and it is zippy and fun. My pbh is 83 and I’m 5’10. Ive got a 60mm stem with Billie’s. For anyone else between sizes I hope this helps. I’ve also found that seat, seat post, and crank arm lengths all add up and can make a huge difference with clearance.
