[RBW] FS: 1985 Ritchey MTB with SON hub, Seattle pickup - $270
1985 Ritchey mountain bike, used as a commute bike for a couple of years, and has been sitting in my garage for a number of years taking up space. Due to arthritis, I'll never be able to ride it again, and need to reclaim the space, so I must depart with this bike, though I have fond memories of riding it. The frame was frame-saved when I brought it to Seattle. It has some scratches on the top tube, and needs a good cleanup. It could use a new bottom bracket as well, and probably some new tires. The details: Seat Tube, CTC 50cm Top Tube, CTC 55cm Wheel Base 109cm (yes, a long one) Wheels are 26". Nitto Dirt Drop Bar, Nitto Dirt Drop Stem, Suntour Friction barend shifters, Ritchey Logic Triple Crankset (170mm, very low Q), Sach Centaur rear derailleur, no name front derailleur, Shimano cantilever breaks, Shimano Road Brake levers, no name 7 speed freewheel, WTB saddle, MKS touring pedals, and Peter White built front wheel with SON hub laced to a Mavic D521 Rim (excellent shape). I'd like to sell the whole bike as is to move it out of the way, for Seattle pickup only, asking $270 for entire bike, OBO. http://dmayne.home.mindspring.com/bike/IMG_0772.jpg http://dmayne.home.mindspring.com/bike/IMG_0773.jpg http://dmayne.home.mindspring.com/bike/IMG_0774.jpg http://dmayne.home.mindspring.com/bike/IMG_0775.jpg http://dmayne.home.mindspring.com/bike/IMG_0776.jpg Thanks, David -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. I agree the Bionx helps make good cargo bikes, but also good trailer haulers out of regular bikes as well. Re: [RBW] Grant blamed for hacked email account?
Certainly would not blame Grant at all, don't know why anyone would. I would suggest that everyone who has a gmail account and a cell phone set up 2 factor authentication - this can help prevent a 3rd party from logging into your account without your express consent, including getting a password sniffed/guessed/bruteforced - and you will get an indication that someone is trying to get into your account. [RBW] FS: VO City/Gentlemen Frame 650B, NOS TA Pro 5 Vis Cranks, NOS Schmidt SON Classic 650B 36 spoke 650B wheel
Hello, I have a VO City/Gentlemen semi-custom frame/fork - this one was built in 2008 by Ahren Roger, a predecessor of the VO polyvant city bike frame. It has only partially been built up, and never ridden. It was designed to handle 650B up to 42mm tires (Hetres do fine), with 52mm fenders (without any bending), has downtube brazons, can take front and rear derailleur, has low trail fork. The frame has seat and chainstay lugs, otherwise filet brazed, lugged fork, fender eyelet/ braze-ons, wire/light braze-ons on front fork, 2 water bottle braze-ons. Comes with VO 1" threaded headset installed. Seat Tube CTC - 53cm Tope Tube CTC - 54cm Wheelbase 104cm Semi Horizontal dropouts, 135mm rear dropout spacing. Seat/seatpost in pic not included. I originally paid about $1400 for this. Asking $275 for local pickup in Seattle. Will consider shipping if no local buyer found. I never finished building the bike up, as my knees gave out, and now I am moving. http://localsavingtips.com/bike/cb01.jpg http://localsavingtips.com/bike/cb02.jpg http://localsavingtips.com/bike/cb04.jpg http://localsavingtips.com/bike/cb05.jpg http://localsavingtips.com/bike/cb06.jpg NOS TA Pro Vis Cranks, 165mm 26-34-46 rings.
