[RBW] Re: Rivendell chicas
Another lady lurker here. I've actually been reading this list for ages and have bought a ton of stuff off the other lovely posters here but I am often too busy to post (or tired of being on the internet). I'll try harder! Beautiful bikes everyone. I am, however, a Rivendell enabler and have peer pressured (gently shoved?) someone else on this list into getting a Rivendell (hi!) as well as some other folks. I'm a bike mechanic and my girlfriend usually borrows a Rivendell from me for anything longer than 20km (we bike camp). I just built her a really nice new bike but she seems hesitant to stop borrowing mine. Hmm. Whatever makes her happy. I've got a beefy camping and touring ready 54.5 (26 inch wheeled) Atlantis, a go fast 56 Rambouillet (green), soon a Box Dog Bikes Pelican and various other bikes. Rode a Populaire 100 on Sunday and saw some other Rivendells as well as a couple of Riv caps and bags. I was In good company. Also, apparently, too busy to keep my flickr account very current but I do have some photos up there. http://www.flickr.com/photos/catsbikesandbeer/ Maybe I'll throw up some more bike and bike trip photos. Cheers! -Aili -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To post to this group, send email to rbw-owners-bunch@googlegroups.com. [RBW] WTB: Nitto Noodles - 44cm
Hello, Just wondering if anyone has a 44cm Noodle bar they want to part with and ship to Canada. To make the bars functional I'd also need a 9cm nitto technomic stem (i'd prefer the deluxe but am not set on it) with a 26 clamp. Maybe someone has one? Building a bike and gathering parts! Thanks, Aili PS. Please reply OFF LIST. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. [RBW] Re: google maps
Here's what Vancouver, BC has going on: http://cvtest.soeh.ubc.ca/olympics.aspx I've never used it as I've ridden here for a long time but I know that some people find it very handy. However, when I plotted my route to work to see how it does it came up with a super sketchy and surprisingly longer route. Who knows! I would probably use it if I was riding out to Port Moody or Coquitlam as a starting point. Neat technology. [RBW] Looking to purchase a Rambouillet Frameset
Hello, I am on the hunt for a 56 Rambouillet Frameset. Or a Romulus (I know they were odd sized, I would be looking for a 57). I'd love to just buy a frameset, I have enough parts at home to build up four bikes at this point, and am willing to pay a reasonable price as well as shipping. I also have a stockpile of Riv related parts, Grip Kings, some Albatross bars, and so on that I would be willing to trade for a bit of a price reduction. Let me know off list. [RBW] Re: Looking to purchase a Rambouillet Frameset
Yep, saw that. Can't afford a new frame right now. Looks like I've got a line on one now so Ryan, you should snatch up Steve's extra one! [RBW] Cleaning House
Hello, I'm cleaning house, and then moving to a smaller one so stuff has to go! Grip King Pedals - $30 Shipped Nearly new, no major scrapes. A little dirt, but I'll tidy them up. Paul Canti Levers - $60 Shipped Silver levers with Black clamps. Most excellent shape. I have another pair so this one is just sitting in a box. I still have the little paper insert! Sugino XD2 Triple Crankset - $60 Shipped A few scuffs and a scrape or two plus some marking from my clips. Chainrings in good shape. Actually, I think the only one that saw use was the middle and it looks pretty good, no stretch in the chain either. Printed font logo, not the crown. Ortlieb Back Roller-Plus Panniers. Black - $180 shipped I only used them a couple of times. All hardware included. No rips or damage, they look unused. Albatross Bars - $35 Shipped 56cm, Cromo, 25.4 clamp. They have a little bit of Shellac on them which I will clean off tonight. Never crashed. I also have a large Sackville Saddlebag that I would like to trade for a medium if anyone is interested. I can send photos if desired, it won't be until later tonight, most likely tomorrow morning though, the camera is being borrowed. Please reply OFF LIST. Paypal preffered.
