So the force of nature that is Carrie Anne (cc'd) and her awesome
buddies are at it again!

If you're a developer, live in or around London and want to help
teachers then you should totally attend "Hack the Curriculum" (alas, I
can't make it due to musical engagements).

I went to the first one and it's a wonderful event where developers
can help make a real difference to what's happening in our schools.

It'd be great if the UK Python community got involved - we have so
much to offer. Just being able to take 1/2 hour to explain some
programming related thing to a teacher who is full of questions would
be a great result, boost their confidence and affect the lives of the
100s of kids they see every week.

Also, it'll be A LOT OF FUN FOR YOU. You'll come away buzzing with
ideas - teachers (because that's what their job is) are good at
inspiring, supporting and promoting that feeling of "hey, I can do this".
