[Python-buildbots] Setting up new buildbot workers

2023-08-24 Thread Itamar O
Hello!

As described in the docs
, I'm reaching
out to this mailing list to discuss adding new buildbot workers and obtain
the needed credentials.

I'm looking to add workers to run NoGIL builders.
Currently I have two workers I'd like to add - a Linux one (x86_64 Fedora),
and a MacOS one (MacBook Pro 2019 Intel, currently running Ventura 13.5 but
regularly updated).
Also planning to add a Windows worker at a later time.

Cheers,
Itamar.

That page could do with an update :). We should probably move this
process to the buildmaster-config repo; I have an idea for an issue
template for the purpose, and adding the workers themselves will have
to be done via a PR to that repo no matter who actually authors it
anyway.

That aside, I'll send you a second message privately in a few minutes
with a password that you'll be able to use for any workers that you
add, but we'll need to add them to buildmaster-config before you're
actually able to connect.
