Having a Python interpreter/distribution in the tree without its supporting cast, in this case, the ability to build Python packages from source (binary wheels are not acceptable), gives ports users the wrong impression (and ammo for complaints/threads/etc that distract from actually making progress). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
