I don't need the Python package ports, I just need a working Python so I can
use `python3.13 -m venv` to create a virtual environment and install the
dependencies for my application using the bundled pip there. It would be really
useful to have 3.12 and 3.13 available in the meantime for this case.

This isn't about you, but rather for the ports tree and those who interact with
it. Having a Python interpreter/distribution in the tree without its supporting
cast, in this case, the ability to build Python packages from source (binary
wheels are not acceptable), gives ports users the wrong impression (and ammo
for complaints/threads/etc that distract from actually making progress).
