php 4.3.2 doesn't work with rh8 apache

2003-06-06 Thread Sergio Durand
Hi folks!!

the lastest php version (4.3.2) doesn't work with rh8 apache shipped
(2.0.40-11.5) ...
i got the message like this : needs apache version >= 2.0.44
i went to rawhide get apache 2.0.45, but i would need install openssl
(rawhide too) and again, i would need install other packages like
postfix, samba, etc ... resuming... i would need update my system fully
to use 2.0.45 apache ...
the lastest version of php in rh8 updates is 4.2.2-8.0.7
how i do to use php 4.3.2 ?? are there other way ??

Regards,

Sergio Durand

Re: Some questions on use of CD-ROMs

2003-06-06 Thread Panos Platon Tsapralis
Hi Dario, you can't eject the CD-ROM drive, unless you unmount it first
(e.g., 'umount -v /dev/cdrom') and you can't unmount it while any number
of users are still accessing it.

Hi, some question:

1) How to read from command line the label of cd-rom (IDE/SCSI)
   inserted into device?
2) How to eject the cd-rom simply press the eject button of device when:
o the cd-rom is mounted.
o the cd-rom is mounted and the users use the files on it.
3) I have 7 cdrom SCSI connecto to channel 2 of a SCSI adapter on a system
whit kernel 2.4.18-27.8.0 and when I mount and use the cd-rom I
get in /var/log/message the attached error: what means?
Thanks for your reply...
