[pfx] PDS_OTHER_BAD_TLD

2023-09-03 Thread roughnecks via Postfix-users

Hello, first time here.

I'm struggling with an issue for a .space domain which gets triggered by
Spamassassin as PDS_OTHER_BAD_TLD (Unthrustworty TLDs). Gmail is
rejecting all of my emails for that reason.

I recently bought this new .eu domain and trying to fix the issue I set
up a virtual alias domain in postfix.

Now I can send my mails (changing sender address from space to eu) using
the same users I had (have) for the .space domain without issues, even
to google but if I perform an online test for the .eu domain, it still
references my .space domain and I don't know where that is coming from..

Here's my latest test: https://www.mail-tester.com/test-w8p3e18tf

For that test I also tried changing my server's hostname and PTR to make
it point to the new eu domain, to no avail.

Can anyone help me solve this issue? If you need more info, just ask.

Thanks, have a nice week ahead!

[pfx] dkim=none

2023-09-06 Thread roughnecks via Postfix-users
hello,

excuse me if I profit from your expertise but I wouldn't know where else to
ask..

I have a main example.space domain and an example.eu aliased domain.

I have set up different txt record for dkim for each domain and the problem is
that when I'm sending mail via the main domain (space), they are not dkim
signed.. It either says dkim=none or the dkim header is totally missing.

If I send via the aliased domain I have no issues whatsoever.

I searched the web for dkim=none extensively to no avail, it looks like most of
the people have issues with the aliased domain and not the main one.

Any help appreciated, thanks.___

So you need to put in /etc/opendkim.conf
KeyTablerefile:/etc/opendkim/KeyTable
SigningTablerefile:/etc/opendkim/SigningTable

In /etc/opendkim/SigningTable
*@ ._domainkey.

In /etc/opendkim/KeyTable
._domainkey. ::

In SigningTable and KeyTable you must have one line for each domain. I
think you already have the same lines but in /etc/opendkim.conf ?
And you already have DNS entries ?

[pfx] [Probably OT] Issue with Schleuder ML

2023-09-09 Thread roughnecks via Postfix-users

Hello.

I have a Postfix install with a .space main domain and an .eu virtual
domain. Prior to the virtual domain setup, I had a schleuder mailing
list.. After the new domain setup I wanted to create a second list but
as it happens I am not able to make it work (first list is still fine).

Messages sent to this .eu list are stored in mailbox account instead of
being processed by schleuder from stdin.

Here's the relevant config. I'm using system users and Postfix + Dovecot.

https://chat.woodpeckersnest.space:5281/pastebin/0905a9b2-7241-4018-bcce-244e159c29e0

Sorry for the possible OT but schleuder support couldn't help me and I'm
out of ideas.

Thanks, have a nice w/e.

[pfx] schleuder and postfix virtual domains

2024-01-14 Thread roughnecks via Postfix-users

Hello,

sorry for the little OT, but I asked schleuder team and they weren't
able to assist me.

My postfix conf has a virtual domain set up.
At first I only had one domain and my first schleuder list was made for
that domain and it still works today.

Now I wanted to start a new ML on the virtual domain, but my issue is
that e.g. mails sent to ml-send...@domain.tld don't get processed by the
schleuder transport, but end up in the ml-sendkey account's inbox.

What can I check?
I didn't touch anything in master.cf and I just added the list addresses
to my "transport" map.

If you need more info, please ask. Thanks

So, this is true if using virtual, but..

I commented out this line in main.cf

> virtual_alias_domains = woodpeckersnest.eu

Then I removed the first line from the virtual map:

@woodpeckersnest.eu @woodpeckersnest.space

restored transport with .eu domain and added .eu domain to "mydestination"

From the first tests I did, everything is in check. Finger crossed.

[pfx] double dkim signature (sendmail)

2025-03-07 Thread roughnecks via Postfix-users

Hello,

I would like to ask about opendkim and signing emails with postfix.
With the following configuration:

## OPENDKIM ##
smtpd_milters = inet:127.0.0.1:8891
non_smtpd_milters =
milter_protocol = 6
milter_default_action = accept

DKIM is correct for email sent by my clients, but if I send a message
from the server's shell, with /usr/sbin/sendmail, I get no signing at
all (dkim none)

So if I change:

non_smtpd_milters =

with:

non_smtpd_milters = $smtpd_milters

I get dkim for sendmail sent messages, but all the other mail gets *2*
signatures (this still looks "acceptable" since I see
Authentication-Results:  gmx.net; dkim=pass but I'm not so sure).

So far I never used sendmail, but I'm planning to install a service
which would make use of it, so I wanted to ask what would be the best
action to take.

Thanks

By far the easiest is to stop using content_filter and to use an

Thanks, but I don't want to "overturn" everything; yes I'm running
spamassassin.

ATM I just found out about:

  -o receive_override_options=no_milters

which stops the double sign.
Ran some tests, looks fine(?)
