Re: Porting forks

2023-02-25 Thread Nuno Teixeira
Hello Jan!

Confirmed, crash fixed with llvm11:
---
-- Configuration for abuse 0.8 --
Compiler: clang11 (clang version 11.0.1)
Install prefix:/usr/local
Asset directory: /usr/local/share/abuse_sdl
SDL version: 1.2.15
OpenGL support:yes
---

I will do further testing on abuse fork to check if same happens.

Thanks!

Unmaintained FreeBSD ports which are out of date

2023-02-25 Thread portscout
Dear port maintainers,

The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more
unmaintained ports appears to be out of date. Please take the opportunity
to check each of the ports listed below, and if possible and appropriate,
submit/commit an update. Please consider also adopting this port.
If any ports have already been updated, you can safely ignore the entry.

An e-mail will not be sent again for any of the port/version combinations
below.

Full details can be found at the following URL:

The ports tree has 1.0.11, which was released 3 weeks ago
and should fix those. See

https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=269382

Some merge to the quarterly ports tree is probably useful.

Thank you very much.

I am using "latest" pkg's. Maybe is better that I am going back to
ports.

www/chromium: build fails on stable/12 (amd64) - both poudriere and portmaster

2023-02-25 Thread David Wolfskill
So... I tried several times to submit this bug via bugzilla, and each
time was told (after about a minute of waiting):

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to bugs.freebsd.org.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the
authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

Anyway: Yeah. I couldn't build www/chromium under stable/12 at
stable/12-n235968-668a32ab231d, either via poudriere (on a 256GB build
machine) or via portmaster (on my laptop).

I have placed a copy of the poudriere log in
https://www.catwhisker.org/~david/FreeBSD/ports/chromium/12/.

The salient part of that shows:

Re: www/chromium: build fails on stable/12 (amd64) - both poudriere and portmaster

2023-02-25 Thread Tatsuki Makino
Hello.

The problem stops there,

Please see the email I sent to freebsd-ports ml.
In the archives, perhaps this.
https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-ports/2023-February/003455.html

The packages for 12.x do not even seem to have been built, as it seems to have
been made using 12.3, maybe.
Thus, there will be no error reports, right? :)

Regards.
