[PLUG] Help required in Localization

Hi,

I'm working on Hindi localization of an open source software. Since I'm new
to this area, can some point me to good resource for translation. I've
tried google/bing translation and babylon.com but these provide more of
general translations and are not very technical. For example, "*Restart*"
gets translated to "फिर से आरंभ करें".

Any help is highly appreciated.

[PLUG] [Commercial] Looking for a person/company who can setup development server

Hi,

We are looking for a person/company who can setup a development and file
server for our team.
We want bugzilla for issue tracking, git as source code control and wiki
server for documentation. Bugzilla and git should be integrated to work
together.
Two/three level access control should be provided. Weekly or monthly backup
scripts should be provided, to perform backup.
This should be setup on a Linux box (preferably Ubuntu).

The person/company should provide AMC and service for the same.

[PLUG] Feedback for lecture on "Linux Tuning & Performance" by Neependra Khare @SICSR

Firstly, the lecture was really awesome. Got to see *real* stuff , that I
learnt in the course of "Operating Systems" in my last semester.
This was the first time I attended a session of PLUG & it was really good.

I just want  to thank & appreciate the efforts of PLUG & even Neependra for
today's sesssion.

Anand,

1) If you are in Pune/Mumbai try contacting the local CDAC offices.
2) If you are not in proximity of these cities, try CDAC's websites,
especially their sections on GIST and FUEL. I think the second one (fuel)
may have a separate website and they are dedicated to localisation.
3) You can make your computer dual-boot and install Hindi/Marathi versions
of Gnu-Linux running GNOME localisation of Hindi/Marathi or KDE
localisation of Hindi/Marathi. They have pretty matured/professional levels
of localisations.

Maybe Karunakar would like to comment here ?
