[PHP-INSTALL] Apache 2 and PHP 4.3.4

I want to know more about the Apache 2.0 integration with PHP.
Is Apache 2.0 still considered expiremental?  I found a page for Apache 2
documentation on the php.net sight and it still reported it as experimental,
but I do not know if that page is constantly updated.
If Apache 2.0 is still experimental, does anyone know how much further out
before it is a legitimate product for a production server?

My problem stems from the fact that the Redhat distributions only install
Apache 2.0 with it's product and do not offer Apache 1.3.

Any thoughts on Apache 2.0's readiness are appreciated.

I seem to have everything and my path is correct. If I go ahead with the 
compile I get the same error when Istart appache2.
