Make sure you have no spaces after -I on Tru64 UNIX.

What version of aCC are you using? Newer releases support -AA which
provide the std namespace. This, of course, doesn't answer your
question.

Umm... Apache?  They use a preforking model and it works quite well for 
every *NIX that Apache runs on.  ;)  Maybe RSE can comment on this
