Can't connect my HK onyx studio speaker to my laptop
Hello Listers, Just yesterday I bought myself a harman Kardon Onyx Studio 1 bluetooth speaker. I had no problems connecting it to my iPhone 5s. How ever, I can't connect it to my windows 7 64 bit laptop. I knowfor a factthat the bluetooth is working on my laptop. Because I am able to connect to my jambox bluetooth speaker. If any one has this particular Harman Kardon Onyx Studio speaker. How have you managed to connect it to your computer? How easy is it to do so? Updating bose soundlink mini ii.
Hi! Someone on the macvisionaries list ask about the updating of the bose soundlink speakers firmware. He seem to struggle a lot with the update. Does someone know if its even possible to update the soundlink as a blind? /A
Re: Updating bose soundlink mini ii.
Hi! Depends on what Soundlink we’re talking about, I have the Soundlink Mini II which can be updated through a USB port. To be honest I’ve not even looked for an update for it let alone do I know if one is available, the speaker does what I bought it for and that’s all I worried about. Having said all that my Soundlink Mini II was purchased over 15 years ago and another series of Mini speakers have replaced it since, there’s a new updated Soundlink Mini which has a hands free speaker phone as part of its design and that unit is shore to have some sort of update facility but again no idea if any update is available. Then there’s the Sound Link Mini Colour which is another series altogether. I suggest that those wishing to attempt an update on their Soundlink product consult the documentation as to the steps required, the documentation is easily accessible through the Bose Web Site. I’ve updated my Soundtouch Portable a number of times with a procure on the unit and the update is performed automatically by holding down a couple of buttons - the Sounctouch when operating is always connected to a Wi-Fi network as a rule so why not update the product automatically - . > On 22 Nov 2015, at 6:35 AM, Anders Holmberg wrote: > > Hi! > Someone on the macvisionaries list ask about the updating of the bose > soundlink speakers firmware. > > He seem to struggle a lot with the update. > Does someone know if its even possible to update the soundlink as a blind? > /A ** Those of a positive and enquiring frame of mind will leave the rest of the halfwits in this world behind.

Re: apps for ham radio and android
Hi! there are two lists you might wish to subscribe to to have your question answered specifically. There’s a blind-ham list which might be able to help and the vi-android list where members may be aware of the App or one of a similar nature. > On 22 Nov 2015, at 8:12 AM, Adrien Collins > wrote: > > Hi > > What apps are there out there for using ham radio on an android nexus 7 > please, I would like echolink, is it available? > > Regards > > Adrien > > ** Those of a positive and enquiring frame of mind will leave the rest of the halfwits in this world behind.

Dane, you said there were two lists but only mentioned one. Do you have any details on the blind hams list? -Original Message- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Dane Trethowan Sent: Saturday, November 21, 2015 4:19 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: apps for ham radio and android Hi! there are two lists you might wish to subscribe to to have your question answered specifically. I’m trying to find those out right now as I know a member who is subscribed though I’m not subscribed myself, will post further if no one has beaten me to it. > On 22 Nov 2015, at 8:26 AM, john riehl wrote: > > Dane, you said there were two lists but only mentioned one. strange bluetooth issue please help?
Hello Listers, my windows 7 64 bit laptop, does connect to my bluetooth speaker. At least it says its connected. How ever the sound doesn't come out of the speaker it self. It still comes out of the laptop on board soundcard. How can I get the sound to come out of the bluetooth speaker itself? RE: strange Bluetooth issue please help?
I tried this the other week and it worked. With the blue tooth speaker on, go into the control panel, then sound. I do this from Win7's Windows search field. Press enter on sound. If your system is like mine, you'll find that the first item is a list of speakers, headphones, etc. associated with your system. Note that my speaker is identified by my system as headphones. Highlight the Bluetooth device, then tab to the default option. Make it the default. I was afraid that by making my Bluetooth speaker the default, my system speakers would be knocked out, but it wasn't the case. When my Bluetooth speaker is on, now the system recognizes it. When I turn it off, my system reverts to my system speakers. I hope I've written this clearly enough. -Original Message- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Michael Amaro Sent: Saturday, November 21, 2015 7:23 PM To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org Subject: strange bluetooth issue please help?
