Freemake Video Converter. It is a free program available from

www.fremake.com

It uses menus and dialogs.

Hi Peter,

I use a Windows program called Replay Media Catcher to do this and I
find it works very well with Window-eyes and possibly other screen
readers. You can buy it from www.applian.com.

Also you may like to have a look at this article that describes 15 ways
to download Youtube videos at

http://savedelete.com/download-youtube-videos.html

I haven't tried any of the methods mentioned in the article though.

Regards Steve.

Songr at least for me, is great! It's free by the way. Google is your friend
because on phone I don't have Songr's site handy.

Freemake's software

2013-07-04 Thread Peter Russillo
Hi list. I was following what was said about Freemake's YouTube converter
and their other software; is this software known to be accessible with
screen readers? Please let me know if anyone's used their software to
downolad YouTube stuff, or the Freemake Music Box software to play audio?
Thanks.

Yours truly, Peter Russillo

Re: Freemake's software

2013-07-04 Thread Dean Masters
I use the Freemake Video Converter to convert video and make mp3's from
other audio or vidoe. I also download Youtube using this program.

when you get a link for a Youtube site go to the video converter

open the menus and go to the edit menu. the only thing in there is paste so
hit enter.

Next go to the menus to the convert menu. Here you can choose what format if
you want video or mp3 and enter on that.

A dialog will come up. Tab to edit preset and hit enter.

Tab through and choose the bit rate, etc. then enter on OK

You will be back in the original dialog. Tab to ... and enter to choose
which folder to put the new files in.

Then when back in the original dialog tab to the convert button and hit
enter.

When it is finished you will have a window over the program that says
success. So alt + f4 to close this window.

Yup; have used it and it does work!  Haven't tried the "video" mode yet;
will maybe try that out at a later time! But I have converted to MP3 with
this program and it did fine!
