Lucky you. I'ed love to have one. I've heard of them, touched them, but
don't own one. They are pretty simple to use though. They use to have the
manual in Braille and everything.

2011-12-25 Thread Matthew and Edgar
Hello Dane. I think I may have the same one you have. Feel free to email me
off list with any questions if you like. The remote is pretty simple. Top
left is power. I think the third button on the first row with four buttons
is the mode switcher. Between radio and cd. When I got mine the customer
service was very helpful.

I was on the Bose web site a couple of years ago searching for a cord for my
older model headphones, and I ran across a Braille remote for one of their
Wave systems. I don't recall which model it was for.

Re: Bose Wave 2 Radio

2011-12-25 Thread David McLean
There is one with a cd player as well called the Music System.

Another couple of accessories you might want to look into are the backlit
remote, not that you would use the lighting but the remote is much larger, the
buttons are much more separated, and the unit is much more powerful. You can
be in a different room and still operate your radio.
Also Bose makes a Braille remote for the Wave radio which I don't have but you
might find useful. I probably would have bought one except that I didn't find
out about it until I had already learned what all the buttons did on the ones I
have.
