Re: RECORDING FROM YOU TUBE DOT COM
Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I thought that maybe something recorded with flash would be as high quality as wav! -- Currently in Lansing Michigan , Wind: "Okay, who stopped the payment on my reality check?" I think the video is an addon for total recorder. DJ DOCTOR P wrote: Hello George, Where can I find this peace of software? Recording with CDex
Hi everyone. I've finally got around to downloading CDex and would be grateful for a brief piece of assistance. I found a tutorial online which guided me through the recording process, so I've managed to create a trial file (or, at least, I think I have). When I stopped recording it went straight back to the file creation dialogue box (for bit rate, file name and output directory, etc). There was no time delay, as there is with Goldwave, in which the file appeared to be saving. It was only around 60 seconds long, so maybe this is why, but I'd be grateful if somebody could please confirm whether things happened as they should. Also, I know that I can change the default output directory, but I didn't do this before recording and now don't know how to find the trial file to check it out. I've got Windows XP Home and usually find my files by going through My Computer, and would be grateful if somebody could explain how to find the folder where the trial file should have been saved. I can't find any new folder called CDEX etc in My Documents or My Music, so am a little confused. Many thanks for help in advance, Danny To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
RE: Recording with CDex
Hi Danny. CDEX creates a couple of folders in your My Documents/my Music. One of these folders is merely a data base folder but the other is named MP3. If you see that folder in your My music folder your recording should be in there. The other alternative is to Go to My Computer and focus on Local disc and do a search for your file, assuming you know the file name. If you find it, pay attention to the pathway. VLC Media Player Question
I've reviewed the documentation for this player, such that it is, and cannot find the answer to one basic question. After having the DVD open I can't select an episode to play. I go to the navigation menu and I can see the titles submenu. The titles are listed numerically. I'm guessing each numbered title is an episode. When I pick one and press enter sometimes it will switch to the episode. Sometimes, however, the player remains silent or switches back to the beginning of the DVD. I would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks. Dan To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
Virtual Audio Cable?
Hello all, I have the following sound setup on my Windows 7 Professional 32 bit laptop. I use a standard 3.5mm headset. So the output is coming from my headphones connected to my sound card, which is an onboard RealTek HD Audio card. My question is would virtual audio cable allow me to record both my voice and the screen reader (JAWS, for example) output at the same time? This idea came to mind as I am listening to a podcast done by a mate of mine. I see he has it installed. Many thanks. -- Signed by Chris Hallsworth E-mail and Facebook: christopher...@googlemail.com MSN: ch9...@hotmail.com Skype: chrishallsworth7266 Twitter: http://twitter.com/christopherh40 To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
Does CDex work with Windows 7?
Hi. The subject pretty well says what I'd like to know. I like CDex, and if it works with Windows 7 I'd like to use it to rip my audio CDs. Thanks in advance for the responses. GO REDS! CDex works just fine on Windows 7, both 32 and 64 bit.
