Winamp and BookMarks

2009-05-03 Thread Tony Swartz
As someone on the list had suggested, the version of Winamp posted on the
WhiteStick download page does not include the library. The library is
included in the 5.552 version on the Winamp.com site.

Also, the easiest way to create a bookmark in Winamp is when playing a
stream, from the main menu window, press Alt I. This will write the
bookmark at the end of the bookmark list. Other than editing the Winamp.bm
file, I've found no way to sort bookmarks. I find it useful to Arrange my
bookmarks by genre. Classical, npr, oldies, and so forth. Grouping like
streams together, I can quickly check the streams within the genre.

An odd behavior with stationplaylist studio

2009-05-03 Thread Jed Barton
Hey guys,
I am noticing an odd behavior with studio, creator, and jaws. It says
graphic every time I arrow through the list of tracks and stuff. It says
graphic before everything,
I did insert V Here is the odd behavior.
I toggled the graphics verbosity to labeled. Then I click the close button,
and it works fine.
Then when I alt tab away to go to another window, then come back to studio,
it says the graphics like it did originally. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jed

Sorting Winamp Bookmarks was Re: Winamp and BookMarks

2009-05-03 Thread Steve Pattison
Winamp bookmarks can be easily sorted by those people who use
Window-Eyes version 7.01 by using the "Sort Winamp Bookmarks" button in
the Winamp Bookmarks Manager which is included in version 1.3 of the
Winamp scripts. However this only sorts the bookmarks alphabetically
and not by genre. Still I find it makes finding bookmarks a lot faster.

Regards Steve.

2009-05-03 Thread James Scholes
Hi Jed,

The graphics setting in the insert+V dialog is set on a per
application baisis, and resets itself when you exit out of the
application it has been set in. While in Studio or Creator, open configuration
manager, select graphics and symbols from the set options menu, and
set the graphics verbosity in there to labeled.

RE: An odd behavior with stationplaylist studio

2009-05-03 Thread Jed Barton
Hey Kevin,
Unfortunately it is not working. I have studio open and it's saying graphic
every time I move up and down. I did insert f2, and arrowed down to
configuration manager, and tapped to OK.
Then I hit insert V in the stationplaylist window. I then changed the
graphics to labeled , and clicked on OK.
Then I went back to the configuration file and hit control S.
Then when I went back to studio, the graphics were back. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Jed

Hi Jed.

This is how Jaws is supposed to work. When you change the verbosity with
INSERT-V, you're changing it only as long as you have focus on it. To
permanently change the setting, hit INSERT-F2 and choose configuration
manager. You can then change the way Jaws acts with Studio, or you can
change the setting for all programs.

If you have any other questions, just ask.
