RE: Script for Browsing to Location in Easy CD-DA Extractor

2008-12-07 Thread David Truong
Hi,

Sorry I have been away for the weekend. I will look at the code I sent you
and fix it up for you. I knew this might not work on every machine and
that's why I suggested that you should feel free to modify the script code
for your situation. I will send code soon.

Well, this is my first venture into scripting, and i don't know what
commands/instructions are available in the script language, or how to
properly express/structure them. But, I would think, there ought to be a way
to have the script perform exactly the procedure I figured out, for Bruce:
move the PC focus to the drive selection combobox; route JAWS to PC; send
JAWS cursor to end of line; left click; switch back to PC cursor; or,
combining the last two steps into one, route PC to JAWS.

Now, all I need to know is how to say all that in JAWS' scripting language.

Ah! That explains it. I honestly don't know if there's anything that can be
added to the script. I would think there'd be a way, but I'm not sure.
Hopefully David can answer this for us and give some other pointers on
getting it to work. I haven't installed HotSpotClicker on my desktop, so
it's only on my laptop at the moment and I'm holding off until I can see if
this script can be made to function. This whole thing is actually really
fascinating to me though.

Caroline,

It seems that the script, as David gave it to us, only works as intended if
the mouse pointer/JAWS cursor is already somewhere near the browse button,
when the script is triggered; otherwise, it fails. Is there code we can add
to the beginning of the script, to specify the JAWS cursor's starting
position?

Caroline,

I don't know what I did right. But, now, David's script IS working as
expected. When I pres alt-b (the key combination I assigned to the script),
the browse to location dialogue opens, and my focus is on the OK button of
the dialogue.

thank you, David, for the script.

Anyone know about this.

Or is there an accessble program for this.

My Cannon printer allows this, but the program is not really accessible.

Hi Peter. On one of my other lists there was a thread about lightscribe

facility but I can't remember where it was. If you are really interested
then I can trawl my deleted items folder and try and find it for you. I
know though you were asking about printing lables but lightscribe might do

until you get to a check box that says something about assigning it to a
hotkey. If this isn't checked, check it. If it is checked, keep tabbing
until you get to an edit box and then press the key combination that you
want to use. Tab to Okay and press Enter. Finally, press Control-S one more
time to save and compile the script and then exit with Alt-F4.

From within Easy CDDA extractor now, press your chosen hotkey and see if it

works. Good luck.

2008-12-07 Thread James Scholes
Hi Pam,
Mundu Radio is a great application for Symbian phones which is account-based.
You create an account, and then add streams that you want to listen to. You
then load the app on your phone, login to the service, and choose the station.
Note: you need to choose 'Update Playlist' in the Radio app to make sure the
streams you have added show up, but once you've done that, it works great! It
even remembers what was the most recent station you listened to when you login,
along with I think around 5 recent stations in a separate window.

Hi Pam,
Mundu Radio is a great application for Symbian phones which is
account-based. You create an account, and then add streams that you want
to listen to. You then load the app on your phone, login to the service,
and choose the station. Note: you need to choose 'Update Playlist' in
the Radio app to make sure the streams you have added show up, but once
you've done that, it works great! It even remembers what was the most
recent station you listened to when you login, along with I think around
5 recent stations in a separate window.

Re: Printing on CD label

2008-12-07 Thread Norma A. Boge

Hi Peter,

Write to Chip Orange at [EMAIL PROTECTED] He has developed an
accessible Word template which can help you generate Avery 5692 and
8692 CD labels. In addition to printed information, this macro will
also add a barcode to the
CD label, and the spine label of the jewel case, so that you can use
a talking barcode reader to match up CDs with cases, as well as
quickly determine

which CD is which.
The interface is easy and screen reader friendly, but you do have to
have Word (any version), and you have to use Avery 5692 or 8692 CD
labels (2 sets per
sheet, each set is a CD label, a top spine label for the jewel case,
and a side spine label for the case).

from Norma: I have not used this macro, I took the above information
from a message I kept that Chip posted to a JFW list. Anyone with
questions or thoughts should contact Chip Orange directly.

Hi Peter. On one of my other lists there was a thread about lightscribe
discs. There is an accessible programme that allows you to use this
facility but I can't remember where it was. If you are really interested
then I can trawl my deleted items folder and try and find it for you. I
know though you were asking about printing lables but lightscribe might do
you also. Walter.

Some time ago on this or some other list I am on I saw info about a Jaws
script or possibly a MS Word macro to help produce labels on the actual

Anyone know about this.

Or is there an accessble program for this.

My Cannon printer allows this, but the program is not really accessible.

Hi:

You might want to purchase DVD audio extractor and simply hear your dvD as
MP3 files.

With DVD audio extractor, you can also play the DVD with full navigation.

Cheers.
