Re: Converting Yes's Ladders to an mp3 I can load into a portable MP3player
Kathy, if you use something like CDex or EAC, it will look past the data track and find the audio. - Original Message - From: "Kathy Szinnyey" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC Audio Discussion List" Sent: Friday, November 07, 2008 6:26 AM Subject: Converting Yes's Ladders to an mp3 I can load into a portable MP3player Well, the subject says it all. Hi, gang! Here's a puzzle for you. If anyone is familiar with this album or ones similar, is there a way to do this? It's one of these albums full of all kinds of data. You can play it on your CD player, but if you put it on your computer you find all sorts of stuff on there, games and videos and files with all sorts of extensions. But I can't find anything that looks like an audio CD file in there. I tried putting it through DVD Audio Ripper with no success. Any ideas? Oh, and I can't seem to find this album as an mp3 through the various mp3 stores I know about. Thanks as always! RE: is lightscribe accessible?
Yes it is. If you go to lightscribe.org and download LightScribe Simple Labeller, you can write a label on the disk. You probably can't include all the track names, but you can easily put your name and the name of the disk. You need a burner that is enabled with LightScribe and disks that are LightScribe enabled. When you are done burning the music to the disk, flip the disk over in the same drive and go to the LightScribe burning program. Open it and follow the prompts. There are other LightScribe programs that permit creation of fancier disk labels, but I haven't tried those. Sonic and Nero and I presume Roxio all have LightScribe labelling components to them. Windows Media burner
I have Jaws 8 and Windows Media 11; the program will burn beta cd's but, not audio cd's for playing in a cd player. When I try to burn an audio cd disc with the start burn button it seems normal burning, but, after about 5 minutes, I get the message, Windows Media player close, activate with space bar and soon after, Windows Media player not available. Any help appreciated. Don Jonathan Mosen List Founder Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Question about Amazon MP3 downloads
Hi everyone. I am wondering if there is a way that I could download multiple MP3's with Amazon without having to go through the checkout process after each song? It's a fairly simple process when I'm downloading albums, but lets say, for instance, that I want to download six songs, all from different albums or even different artists. As it stands now, it sends me through the checkout process multiple times. I don't see an "add to cart" link like I do for other merchandise I purchase on Amazon. Thanks for any assistance you can provide. Re: Question about Amazon MP3 downloads
That's the same question I had wondered. If you install the Amazon downloader, which is a fairly transparent application, then thereafter, when you click on buy track, it pulls up a window called Amazon downloader. The song then downloads without any further action. You can keep clicking on buy track on different songs and it will keep downloading. On my computer, it keeps me logged on, and my card is billed a few minutes later without any checkout process. It's basically a one-click thing, where you click on buy track. You should check the menu bar on the downloader program to make sure the files are being downloaded where you want them, and where you can find them. Thanks a lot. Hello, I have an HP with a lightscribe burner in it. Do you have to buy special light scribe CDs? Thanks, Robbie.
