Winamp Help
I am using JFW 8 and Winamp5.52 I only use the Library for ripping CD's as I can never figure out how to do anything in the library . Normally when I go into the Library I just need to tab across a 3 time to get to the rip button. Today there other things there and I cannot figure out how to get the rip section back. When this has happend in the past I have used the Jaws cursor to move around the screen to look for the word DVD and left click and the screen comes back to 'normal'. Today I cannot find it so cannot bring it back. Any clues please. Another thing I have noted in the recent Winamp. When I alt-3 to see track info, jaws looses focus. I need to alt tab to the info screen. Does this happen for others too? strange problem with CD drives
Good morning, I'm searching for ideas on a strange problem a friend has with his computer. When he plays a CD in either drive it will play for a couple minutes and then it stops and the computer locks up. He thinks it's some sort of buffer issue, I have no idea where to even begin troubleshooting because there is no error message. Also, how do you stop Windows Media Player 11 from popping up when a CD is inserted? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. creative Zenstone
Hello, I have just bought a creative zenstone 1gb player. I am having a strange problem. When I connect it to the machine it gives me option for playing files and if I select OK it plays. However, if I try to access the player using my computer it gives recycler\desktop.exe dialog that windows cannot access the file and that I may not have permissions. Please help. Thank you. The easiest program is still Winamp, and, thankfully, it's still free. The only thing Station Playlist does for you that Winamp doesn't is offer you a very nice but expensive wrapper around very basic functions. Processing LP records
Hi again! I know this is probably one of the most discussed topics on pc-audio so I think it a good opportunity to remind list members of one of the most invaluable resources on the net for everything you could wish to know about this topic and more! http://www.siliconchip.com.au May I particularly draw your attention to the May and June 2007 issues of this magazine. In May all aspects of turntables are discussed including a history of the humble beast, where its headed now and various turntables which are being sold and what to look out for if you're in the second-hand market. The June issue has a run-down of various pieces of both free and commercially available pieces of software which will help you process your humble record collection, there are some familiar names in that list but a lot that I've never heard of before and these titles (if they're not free) then they're cheap as chips so they're worth at least investigating. You can subscribe to Silicon chip magazine online or via mail, you'll find all the necesary information on the web site. I suggest the online issue, I read it regularly though if you prefer print? Fine, the print issue scans quite well. Overseas customers are more than welcome. ** Dane Trethowan From Melton Victoria Australia Phone +613 9747 3975 Voiceover Tech Support +613 8732 9237 Fax +613 9743 7954 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] msn: [EMAIL PROTECTED] skype: callto:grtdane12 *** Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: Creative ZenStone
I think you might be right, because I have both the zenstone 512? and the zenstone plus 1gb and the smaller has the slide switch but the 1gb has a push down bar which is a pain. but it has the fm radio which i really don't care about. So maybe there are different types out there that I do not know of but I'd rather have the switch back and forth like you have only with the 1 gb or the 2 gb. I'll shop around and ask and thanks. Re: creative Zenstone
Have you copied any music to the Zen Stone yet? If not, what music is it playing, the samples that come with the player maybe? I'm a bit confused as to what you're doing. Are you saying that when you plug the Zen Stone in, you get a dialog that gives you several options, including "play music"? Are you then selecting this option? Is it after you've selected this option that you're getting this error message? Instead of selecting play music, have to tried selecting one of the other options, such as explore media or something like that? What if you cancel out of that dialog box and then try to access the Zen Stone through "My Computer" or with Windows Explorer? I hope some of these suggestions help.
