Re: Station Playlist Studio

Ok thanks for this, I'll be honest with you, I'm God smacked to hear
that as I thought that "shuffling" would have been the most basic and
obvious feature of a piece of DJ software.

FOobar2000 is an accessible and rather efficient audio player. It works by
using mainly standard controlls, though there is one querk in the latest
versions, that in order to go between the playlist tabs, you have to
controll tab while hovering on the tab controll, not from anywhere, and you
can't arrow left and right. However, it works well, and I like using it for
some things.

Re: Napster's wma bit rate

2008-02-28 Thread Larry N
That is a drawback. Also, with Napster, you only have access to the music
for as long as you are a member. You're kind of renting it. I've been an
Emusic member several times. Then when I run out of new downloads that are
worth my time and effort, I drop out for a while.

Nero

2008-02-28 Thread Peter Bentley
Hello all

I am a new member to the list and a recent user of Nero and ripping generally.
Presently I am using Nero 8

I am aware that when tracks are ripped and saved to the hard disk the track
titles can be drawn down from the net. As long as Nero is running these track
names are available and read when the files are viewed in Windows Explorer.
However, when Nero is unloaded the track names revert back to "01.mp3" "02.mp3"
etc. Is there a way within Nero of automatically changing the actual file names
to the track titles or does this have to be done manually to each track using
normal editing techniques.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Peter Bentley

I have looked at John Wilson's tutorial but it does not seem to cover this but
I may be mistaken.

Any help much appreciated.

Peter Bentley

I don't know how much I can help but I have used Foobar and have been for a
little while. I was using WE but JFW works a little better. It's not
impossible with WE, but JFW actually worked better out-of-the-box which is
pretty unusual.
anyway configuring keyboard shortcuts is easy and most of the controls are
standard.
let me know if I can help

Re: dual layer CD

2008-02-28 Thread DJ DOCTOR P
Hello Estelita,
Two layer CD's?
What are those?
Two layer DVD's have always been around, but this is the first time I've
ever heard of a two layer CD.
Where did you see these at?
  John.

Hi,
Can anybody tell me how this dual layer CD works?
Does it mean I can burn music on both sides?
As totally blind, I want to make sure of the things before purchasing.
Any information about dual layer CD is very much appreciated.
Thank you,

Estelita
