Re: accessible MP3 player
I have the Zen Stone. No radio. Everything is 100 percent accessible. Listen to my demo of it at the website listed below for more details. The model is just the Zen Stone. It has a capacity of 1GB. It doesn't have a radio. It doesn't have a display or speakers. You have to use head phones or powered speakers with it. The battery is advertised to last for about 12 hours. I haven't measure it, but I get more like 8 hours. It also doesn't require any software to copy music to it. It just shows up as a USB drive on your PC, and you can use Windows Explorer to copy files to it. Applian Technologies Announces New Technology to Record XM and Sirius Internet Broadcasts Applian Technologies releases a breakthrough technology to record XM and Sirius Internet Broadcasts via stream capture. San Anselmo, CA (PRWEB) December 18, 2007 -- Applian Technologies has just released an update to their flagship online media recording product, Replay AV, that offers the first ever stream capture recording of Sirius and XM satellite online radio broadcasts. This breakthrough release offers all XM and Sirius subscribers the ability to automatically schedule and record their favorite streaming satellite programs with perfect bit-for-bit reproduction of the original feeds. Additionally, Replay AV allows simultaneous recording of multiple XM and Sirius streaming shows. "We are very excited to be the first software company to offer this exciting new recording breakthrough," said Bill Dettering, CEO of Applian Technologies. "This latest release of Replay AV further demonstrates our leadership in recording radio shows broadcast over the web, as well as other types of media. Our satellite radio enthusiast beta testers have been thrilled." In addition to downloading streaming audio, Replay AV also captures streaming video, includes an integrated media guide for recording and scheduling radio shows, converts all the popular audio and video formats, imports recordings automatically into iTunes and offers the ability to send recorded files via the integrated YouSendIt application. Replay AV works with any PC running Windows. You can learn more about it at www.Replay-AV.com. Re: Address Changed for BlindReplay blog
Hey Petro. I just looked at the blog, and it's a great idea, however I noticed there's no way to comment on the posts? I think if you're going to do a blog about replay and other media products from Applian from a blind user's perspective, it only makes sense that other blind users should be able to comment on the usability of the programs, and offer tips for the Applian staff so they can watch out for problems relating to accessibility. From just the little I saw there, there's not really much that separates the blind replay blog from Applian's update blog, you're just getting the exact same info, just at a different address. It'll only be really effective if we can share ideas and make this awesome program as great as it can be with a screenreader, without having to install loads of scripts or sets to get it going. Nice start though, good going! SV: RadioTime
Hello! Does it cost anything? I mean radio time? /Anders. -Ursprungligt meddelande- Från: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] För Mike Pietruk Skickat: den 17 december 2007 20:27 Till: PC Audio Discussion List Ämne: Re: RadioTime Brent Both Replay AV and RadioTime are great programs; and I have both on my pc. There are a couple of advantages associated with RadioTime vs Replay. As Radiotime (the program is actually called Redbutton) is managed via the website, rather from within the program, you can modify your recording schedule from any pc. Secondly, while a recording is in progress, you can quickly jump back (and then again forward) in 3 minute intervals so you can quickly hear someone again. Which program is better? Both are great; if I could only have one, however, I'd opt for Replay AV. But since I can have both, I do.
