re can't record in soundforge
Hi, i don't know whether you are recording from a recorder input and using line-in, or from a radio stream and are using stereo-mix. it is possible that which you were using, may have come unchecked if you have been using some other application such as skype. whenever i use skype, i have to check the line-in or stereo mix box, depending on what i wish to record. go to start, enter run programme, key in sndvol32.exe /r.and press enter. this will bring up the input choices. tab or shift tab, until you reach the one you want, then close with alt f4. if this doesn't work, i don't know what to suggest, brian. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Replay AV's Url Finder
I spent a good part of the day playing around with the demo version of Replay. Most things seem straightforward enough except for perhaps the most invaluable feature for me: the url finder in the help menu. This morning I successfully uncovered some urls that I otherwise would have not found and saved them into .m3u files which I have launched in Real Player. My problem, however, is that there seems to be no rhyme or reason what shows up into the Url Finder listview. Sometimes I am told that nothing is checkd; and when I arrow down, no items are available. At other times, I not only find links from Replay Av's streaming but also for downloads by Juice and, just now, for a program that RedButton is recording. And not all Replay AV streams I have listened to have ended up in the Url Finder; and some streams show up 5 or 6 times. I suspect that user error on my part is at play here. Can anyone share any tips for using the Url finder, or is there a tutorial or podcast that addresses this unique and invaluable feature? RE: Replay AV's Url Finder
Hi mike, the URL finder monitors all traffic coming from the network adapter you selected, looking for media. So it would make sense that it is finding things from Juice. What I suggest you do is clear the URL finder just before you go to a stream whose URL you are interested in. Even then, you may find several entries as streaming meta files have become increasingly complicated. Preview each one to see which one launches the stream, and make a record of the successful one. In my case, I just add the successful stream to the Tuner within Replay AV. Pirate Radio Commemoration Weekend
Hi Listers. Does anyone know the starting time and in fact the finishing time of the bbc pirate radio commemoration event which I understand is taking place this weekend? Last time it was on I found it compelling listening and all those great songs from the 60's and 70's were great to hear again. If anyone has the URL to the stream I'd be interested to know. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give. RE: Pirate Radio Commemoration Weekend
Hi Warren, this is the second time Pirate BBC Essex has been on, the last time was in 2004 for the 40th anniversary of the start of Radio Caroline. It's on right now and closes on Tuesday afternoon UK time, one would imagine at 3 PM to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the illegality of offshore radio there. The direct URL for the stream is http://www.bbc.co.uk/essex/realmedia/pirate_bbc_essex.ram It's fantastic, won't be doing anything else this weekend other than listening. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Warren Goodwin Sent: Friday, 10 August 2007 3:27 p.m. To: PC audio discussion list.
