A repost from a few days ago, just wondering if I might get a bit this time!
Hi, gang! I'm working on a small file in soundforge 6.0, the cheapo version. I want to do things: slow down the tempo of the file and lower the pitch. Is this too much to ask of this version? I've tried messing with pitch bend and tempo, to no avail. This may be partly due to the fact my little pea brain can't seem to understand how to edit this stuff. The manual made even less sense. Any help would be much appreciated. Also, is there a tutorial out there that deals with some of this more obscure stuff? Or a list of blind Soundforge users? Thanks, as always, for all your good help! RE: recomandations for a good speaker system
The sub woofer for the z5500 system is about 13" high, 13" wide and 15" deep. There is also some heat sink fins on the back that add another few inches to the depth. When I say huge, I mean it is large for a pc speaker system. The sub woofer I have on my home theater setup however is a different league completely and is much larger than that. I would say that the sub for the z5500 setup weighs about 40lbs or so. --Warmest regards, --Rick Alfaro [EMAIL PROTECTED] -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Sunshine Sent: Friday, October 13, 2006 6:12 PM To: PC audio discussion list. RE: recomandations for a good speaker system
Personally, the best 2.1 setups I have heard in terms of sound quality are the Logitech Z2300 system which isn't expensive at all, but really kicks but. The other one is the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 but these are almost twice the price of the Logitech Z2300. I am specifically referring to sound and not convenience features like remote controls and additional inputs. A lot of folks also seem to like the Boston Acoustics systems for sound quality. --Warmest regards, --Rick Alfaro [EMAIL PROTECTED] -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kevin Doucet Sent: Friday, October 13, 2006 8:00 PM To: PC audio discussion list. Re: recomandations for a good speaker system
Many of the smaller speaker systems along with a good sub woffer throw a pretty good punch these days. It is no longer necessary to have huge speaker enclosures as it was years ago. I find that the new generation of speakers sound bright and clear. Energy makes a good speaker that won't leave you broke. The speaker is made in Canada, and is used by many broadcasters. - Original Message - From: "Rick Alfaro" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'PC audio discussion list. Altec Lansing also makes a pretty good speaker as well. What it boils down to is what the individual prefers. I might like a speaker system with a good midrange and someone else would prefer a system with no midrange and a lot of base. - Original Message - From: "Rick Alfaro" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'PC audio discussion list. Real Player Basics
I want to hear a feed for Penn State football. I can't remember how to find it or how to use Real Player to help find it. It's been quite a while since I last did this and RP has changed. Thanks. Btw. I can't get any meaningful menus from RP either. Just what looks like a web page. If there's a place to get tutoring, let me know. Thanks, again. ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This list is a service of MosenExplosion.com. Re: recomandations for a good speaker system
Personally I would reccomend any of the Logitech speaker systems. I found mine on sale for $40 and it was a regular $120 value. The sound is very good, and it sounds like a stereo. It impressed me and I am a musician and use my computer for recording also, so I demand a lot out of a set of speakers. If you need any further info, please let me know. - Original Message - From: "Sunshine" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; ; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, October 12, 2006 11:33 PM Subject: recomandations for a good speaker system >i am looking for recomandations for a great speaker system, 5.1 6.1 7.1 8.1 >or above brand, price and pros, cons, and what you think of the speaker >system > > please let me know what you have and would recomand. > ___ > PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... > http://www.pc-audio.org > > To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > This list is a service of MosenExplosion.com.
