You can listen to two excellent reviews of the IFP799 by Shane Jackson which were broadcast on Main Menu last September. They cross when you want to use elements from one object to create elements in the other object. MP3 Tag Studio permits this quite easily and effectively. I cleaned up 3000 files in a lunch hour one day just by properly specifying what I wanted deleted from the filename string. You can use it to insert characters at the any point in the overall name string, make string replacements using either direct sring1=string2 or regular expression syntax, operate on files, folders, or both, recurse folders or not, ... a dozen different renaming operations in all, some of which have several suboptions. A very blind-user-friendly piece of software, and the best part, it's free! I just don't remember his web site, but it's probably jimwillsher.com or something similar. Google will find it for you. Re: TV Tuner Cards & Programmer Wants to Help us
I'd be interested in this. It'd be especially cool if one could record just audio as an option so I can throw imtoo converter away for good. I'd use Replay converter but Snapstream likes to record mpeg-2 which Replay won't support. I can't seem to move stuff up and down the list so that the stuff I record from cable that repeats over and over takes a back seat to a show on a local channel that airs once a week. I made the mistake of hitting record always in the web interface, and it does just that at all cost. - Original Message - From: "Chris Skarstad" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list.
