You should be able to do it without those gaps, mine does. After I've
added
all the tracks, I tab through the dialog boxes and there's one that you
must

always uncheck and it says "no pause between tracks." It's default is
checked so you must uncheck it every time unless there's a config file
I've

not found yet.

Sonar 4 help

2005-07-04 Thread Roger Fordham
Hi,
I have Windows Xp, service pack 2, Jaws 6.10, and 5.10 with Sonar 4 Producer's
edition and Caketalking for Sonar 4 installed.
I have a problem, in that when pressing control +f1 twice, although I am told
that after I choose a topic from the contents list, and enter on it, I am
told that the topic is opening in Wordpad, but ... I can't then read the topic.
I am taken straight back to the track screen. All settings in sonar 4 are
correct, and the two Control f12 tests run perfectly.
I have also altered .doc. .rtf and .txt file extensions in File Format Change
so that they select Wordpad. None of that makes any difference either!
I should be glad if you could advise me what files are called to initiate the
help files in wordpad, so that I can check that they are properly installed,
and also if you could advise me what I might do extra to that. I have no idea
why wordpad fails to respond to the necessary called file.
All the help docs are installed in Caketalking 4 for Sonar, and if I go to that
folder, I can read them in the normal way, tutorials etc. It's just that I
cannot read them in the Sonar program itself. I know that there is nothing
wrong with Sonar, but with the way my Windows system appears to be set, as the
help files work perfectly when the same Sonar program is installed on a laptop
that I have.
Cheers
Roger

windows media player and mp3 and m3u files

2005-07-04 Thread Dean Martineau
Greetings. I havelaunched a podcast, Baha'i Perspectives. The files are
located at http://bahai-perspectives.info.

I make my podcast available for regular streaming and downloading for those
who prefer this method of access. Two people who use Windows Media Player
instead of Winamp to access mp3 files have said that they cannot listen to
or download one program (program 2,) and that clicking on the download
link, (the link to the mp3 file) simply results in it streaming just like
clicking on the m3u file would do. I don't use wMP to play mp3 files, can
see no difference in my html that would cause a difference, and can't
replicate any of this with Winamp. Can anybody shed any light on what
either I or the users can do to get the files?

Re: Easy CD DA Extractor 8.2.1 is now Available

Hi Steve,

Do you use this program yourself? If so, how would you rate it in terms of
screen reader accessibility and non-visual simplicity, compared to other
prominent programs you may be familiar with like Nero, Easy Media Creator,

Thanks a lot. If you know anyplace online where the program is reviewed for

Re: Easy CD DA Extractor 8.2.1 is now Available

2005-07-04 Thread Bruce Toews
I'm not Steve, but I can't recommend this program enough. The only problem
I've found from an accessibility standpoint is that when you are selecting
individual tracks to be ripped, JAWS won't give you the checked/unchecked
status. I don't know about Window-Eyes, perhaps someone could respond to
that from a WE perspective. All it takes to get around this is a little
memorization. One really nice feature of Easy CD-DA Extractor is that it
integrates itself into Windows Explorer's context menus, so converting a
file or burning it to a CD is as simple as right-clicking or hitting the
context menu key on a file and choosing the appropriate option.

I'm not Steve, but I can't recommend this program enough. The only
problem
I've found from an accessibility standpoint is that when you are
selecting
individual tracks to be ripped, JAWS won't give you the
checked/unchecked
status. I don't know about Window-Eyes, perhaps someone could respond
to

that from a WE perspective. All it takes to get around this is a little
memorization. One really nice feature of Easy CD-DA Extractor is that
it
integrates itself into Windows Explorer's context menus, so converting
a
file or burning it to a CD is as simple as right-clicking or hitting
the

context menu key on a file and choosing the appropriate option.

Re: windows media player and mp3 and m3u files

2005-07-04 Thread Kelly Pierce

Dean,

Might they be just selecting the file, that is clicking on it rather than
right clicking on the MP3 link and choosing "save target as" from the right
click menu?

Subject: windows media player and mp3 and m3u files

Greetings. I havelaunched a podcast, Baha'i Perspectives. The files are
located at http://bahai-perspectives.info.

I make my podcast available for regular streaming and downloading for
those who prefer this method of access. Two people who use Windows Media
Player instead of Winamp to access mp3 files have said that they cannot
listen to or download one program (program 2,) and that clicking on the
download link, (the link to the mp3 file) simply results in it streaming
just like clicking on the m3u file would do. I don't use wMP to play mp3
files, can see no difference in my html that would cause a difference, and
can't replicate any of this with Winamp. Can anybody shed any light on
what either I or the users can do to get the files?
