Re: Decisions, decisions! Anapod explorer or Muvo?
As I understand it, the shuffle will play loaded music in a random sequence everytime you start the player. This I would think would be very different to the Nuvo where you would be able to dictate what sequence you wanted to hear your music by either creating playlists or browsing your music folders. If I'm right in my assumption here, the choice really comes down to what you want to do with your player rather than what software you'll use to access it from your computer. If you're happy to have a random sequence of delivered music then you'd probably go for the shuffle, use windows explorer to load your music and you're good to go. I don't know what advantages you'd get using the Anapod software as you won't be creating playlists or browsing music on the player. By Nuvo, I assume your talking about the creative nuvo? If so, you'll want to get notmad explorer to help you load your music and create your playlists as you'll be able to choose how you play your music on this player. Notmad explorer is from the same company that produces Anapod explorer and it's great software in terms of it's accessibility and features. Regards. One is not required with the IPod Shuffle to have one's music in shuffle mode. You can listen to files in order just like in any other player, but it has that name because since it has no screen, many people will choose the shuffle approach. Re: an accessible subscription music site??????????
I've had things in Winmx for over a year. I would even forget I've had them in there and, then, one day they'd show up in my completed files. The one thing in Winmx that is important, I think, is if you close it and then open Winmx at a later time is to be sure and go to the Transfers section and activate the Load Incomplete button. This tells Winmx to keep looking for those incomplete files. I wish it would do it automatically, but I can easily find that button and hit it. - Original Message - From: "Denis" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Re: Napster
If you are using Jaws press insert+crtl+g to automatically name graphics. When they are named press insert+ctrl+shift+g to bring the graphics together. RE: Napster
Are you saying this has worked for you with the current version of Napster? I don't think there are tooltips--at least none that I could determine. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Doc Sent: Sunday, March 20, 2005 10:42 PM To: PC audio discussion list. RE: Napster
After playing around some more, I did discover that it is possible to get somme of the graphics to label. It seems like things react differently depending on which way the wind blows with this new Napster. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Doc Sent: Sunday, March 20, 2005 10:42 PM To: PC audio discussion list. Napster Supported Players
Just to let people know what I've found out so far: I was excited about Napster but should have read a little more. Oh well--I only have the 14-day-trial so it can't be that bad. When I saw that napster to go supports selected players and Iriver was on the list, I immediately signed up for the free trial. I found out later that Napster to go only supports the newest Iriver player and not my IHP120. Supported players can copy music to players instead of only having access on the PC. >From what I've found so far, there may not be any backward compatibility. At first I thought new firmware might be released to allow the older players to work with Napster. This may still happen, but all I've seen are complaints from people who don't have the requisite players and no one talking about which players will e supported soon. Has anyone else yet had any experience with Napster to go? ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
