The reason it's never been automated is that it gives us an opportunity to prevent the wide dissemination of possibly bogus builds to unsuspecting casual users (those are trunk versions after all and we have seen the trunk badly broken for days at a time in the past). I figure that since the particular links I was looking at are marked (in bold) with the word "Experimental" I figure that people realize that it might be broken... Even so, I've added a line of warning that might help filter out the unhelpful.
