[okular] [Bug 497715] "Continuous view" and "Show scrollbars" settings not correctly applied on startup
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=497715 --- Comment #1 from Will --- Oh, a slight amendment - for the "OBSERVED RESULT" section, "View mode" -> "Continuous" is NOT checked. The problem goes away if I check this, but doing that for every PDF is frustrating. This also doesn't seem to happen for all documents. I can upload an example if you want. It also seems to correspond to a small "Welcome" box appearing in the top left of the view but again I'm not sure if this is 100% of the time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=497715 Bug ID: 497715 Summary: "Continuous view" and "Show scrollbars" settings not correctly applied on startup Classification: Applications Product: okular Version: 24.12.0 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org Reporter: kdeb...@korte.land Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY The "Open in continuous mode by default" option and the "Show scrollbars" option are no longer correctly applied on startup. Close Okular 4. Open a PDF that hasn't been opened before OBSERVED RESULT The scrollbar is not visible, and continuous mode is not active despite "View mode" (in the main toolbar) -> "Continuous" being checked. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux kernel 6.12.4 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This seems to be a regression in Okular 24.12.0 - I seem to remember this working last week, but I'm not 100% sure. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[okular] [Bug 497235] preview and printing of (certain) PDF file fails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=497235 --- Comment #6 from yadtx...@gmail.com --- Some poppler components are 24.3.0 (like libpoppler-cpp0, libpoppler-glib8, libpoppler-qt5-1, libpoppler135), some are older (e.g. 22.1.0 for libpoppler117). This is checked via package manager. The same version is stated in the generated (preview) ps which fails opening with gv, too. Does that help or is there any other way to determine which version is used? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[okular] [Bug 497235] preview and printing of (certain) PDF file fails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=497235 --- Comment #7 from Albert Astals Cid --- Seems it's a "you're using old versions problem". Can you try to run okular from flathub and confirm if it works for you (print preview at least?) https://github.com/flathub/org.kde.okular -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
