Netsurf failing on APOD
Can anyone confirm that recent versions of Netsurf are failing to display http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/. It works on 1.2 but fails with r6586-r6659, but it may have failed earlier as I don't update that often. -- Steve Clark {sjcl...@ormail.co.uk using a 129Mb SA 6.14 RiscPC}
Running out of memory
Has anyone still got a copy of Netsurf dating to before the memory leak problem that they could send me (offlist)? I've reverted to 2.1 for most uses, but I'd rather have something more up to date. With the most recent release r9569 on a graphics heavy page I have dynamic areas 236K, 548K and 51M; under 2.1 the same dynamic areas are 236K, 548K and 8704K. -- Steve Clark {sjcl...@ormail.co.uk using a 129Mb SA 6.14 RiscPC}

I've put in an bug report. The default file opens and saves as a txt file, whenever I open Netsurf or use the home button. It opens correctly if you drag and drop or double-click it. -- Steve Clark {sjcl...@ormail.co.uk using a 129Mb SA 6.14 RiscPC}

Editing Hotlist.
I've been trying to edit down some of the longer names in my hotlist, but I can't. 1) Edit in the Neturf hotlist - reverts to previous. 2) Edit hotlist (Netsurf.Choices.Hotlist) directly using !Edit - reverts to previous, on loading Netsurf. 3) Close Netsurf, delete cache, change hotlist entry in !Edit - reverts to previous. It looks as it Netsurf is holding a copy of the hotlist somewhere and then writing it to Netsurf.Choices when it closes, but it then ignores the copy in Choices in favour of the hidden copy!! Anyone any ideas? I suspect I'm wasting my time as Netsurf overwrites the hotlist entry with the page title anyway, every time it downloads the page. Does this mean the Global History is overwriting the Hotlist? If so surely they should be independent. -- Steve Clark {sjcl...@ormail.co.uk using a 129Mb SA 6.20 RiscPC}
