Netsurf has limitations which are a constant source of tasks for the
guys who work on it.
However, I use R13065 at the moment and it is stable as far as I am
concerned. Geminus and Netsurf have never conflicted on my computer.

OK. It's been years since I looked at them. I'd forgotten they even
existed. However every box contains a tick.

I'm using NetSurf r13401 and RO5.16 and I have no problems reading the

!Ticker solves the problem for me.

I run it (v 25.11.11)on the Iyo 5.16 and the Armini.
It's a news ticker which runs across the screen. You can place it at
the top or bottom. You can choose your newsfeed from within its
choices. Sorry, I don't know the source.

Think she means javasoft on and javasoft off.
If a version of netsurf is pre java soft, there isnt a json or jsoff
option in the menu cos its not relevant.

I'm using #833 and I get the message 'This ID is not taken yet. Are

You may think that this is hardly suprising since I don't actually
have a Yahoo account(and don't want one) but, never-the-less, NetSurf
v833 and Yahooo are at least communicating at this basic level.

Hi,
I notice the Stubs folder.
After Boot and System merging, can I remove the Stubs folder from my
computer or should it be stored somewhere, and if so where?

When I unzipped the archive I merged the boot and system. I also
noticed a folder called stubs. I'm not clear whether its contents are
used by the boot and/or system during merging or if its contents must
now remain in situ. My reasoning being that if the merging leaves an
instruction as to where stubs can be found, if I now delete the
unzipped archive containing stubs I'll just create another problem.

I'm always happy to ignore stuff I don't understand but unhappy when a
problem arises after I threw it away because I didn't understand its
importance.

I'm about to assume that, in this case, 'ignore' means the same as
'delete'?

FWIW I see I'm using r13401 and see a wide blue bar across the top
which includes their welcome frame at top left and a search window in
the middle. Immediately below the bar the underlined words Privacy
