86. Be aware that while NANOG will make every effort to reduce the risk of
COVID-19 transmission on site, it is possible that you may come into
contact with people that carry the virus through your travels.

We will comply with the state of California’s guidelines for masking and

distancing are strongly recommended, however, not required.

available.  The application will remain open until April 16, 2019.

NANOG will be providing four (4) scholarships of $10,000 each for the
2019-2020 school year.  Applicants must meet the listed criteria, and not

NANOG 90 Venue Update

Dear NANOG Community,

This letter is an update on the upcoming NANOG 90, February 2024 conference.

As we announced at NANOG 89, due to unforeseen circumstances, our
contracted meeting venue canceled our contract and it became necessary for
us to change the venue and date for the upcoming NANOG 90 meeting (12-14
February 2024). This has resulted in the delay in posting the hotel guest
room information as we work to negotiate an agreement with a new property.
The delay has been due to the hotel network infrastructure, which is not at
the level NANOG requires to support its network needs.

We are happy to report at this time a solution has been developed, and
contract signing is underway.  Once the contract is completed, there will
be a room block we will publish for registered NANOG conference attendees
to begin booking rooms. The room block will be available to all one week
later.

We appreciate your patience as we worked through this process, along with
your unflagging support of NANOG.

committee. So many highly-qualified volunteers from the NANOG membership
were nominated for this year’s committee selection, and we personally thank
each NANOG member who offered their time.

As an organization, NANOG was founded by volunteers who developed a quality
forum for North America’s operator community. Despite the growth in NANOG’s

NANOG 92 Registration is now open

The NANOG 92  meeting, hosted by
TORIX  will take place 21-23 October, 2024 in
Toronto, ON, Canada. Registration is open, and we look forward to seeing
you at our next community gathering.

Registration Fees + Deadlines

NANOG registration fees are in USD and include access to general and
breakout sessions, breakfast daily, lunch on the first two days of the
event, entry to all social/networking events. Current in-person
registration rates are $675 for Members, $700 for Non-members, or $100 for
students. Virtual Registration, available for $100, opens on October 8,
2024. Attendees are permitted to bring a guest to NANOG social events for
an additional fee. Purchase is required with your registration.

Cancellation Fees:

NANOG hopes everyone who registers for the meeting will be able to attend;
however, we know  extenuating circumstances do occur, therefore the NANOG
cancellation and refund policies are as follows:

Registrations canceled now to 06 October, 2024 is refundable but will incur
a $50.00 fee

Registrations canceled 07 - 19 October, 2024 is refundable but will incur a
$100.00 fee

Registrations canceled on or after 20-October, 2024 will not receive a
refund

Substitutions are honored at any time, no-shows are not eligible for refunds

Hotel Guest Room Block

We will be hosting NANOG 92 at the Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto. The Room
Block is available for registered attendees only until 20 August, when it
will then be available to the full community. Room rates start at $339.00
CAD for standard single occupancy. More information is available at

VISA Requests

A letter of invitation is issued solely for the purpose of assisting
participants with visa applications for their attendance at the conference.
If you require a letter of invitation, please register and pay for the
NANOG meeting. Once the payment has been received, all requests for Letters
of Invitation should be addressed by email directly to
nanog-supp...@nanog.org. It is the traveler’s responsibility to check and
confirm current visa requirements to enter Canada. To see if you require a
